His whole argument was that Fournette and Guice weren't a "proven commodity", and Hurd and Kamara were. I was like, wtf? Fournette had the same amount of yards as those 2 combined.

Not worked up... I have a life, but it just shows how STUPID some Frick's are on these shows. Love LSU or not LF is a once in a generation back. Put anyone of LSU's other 3 RBs with him and it should still be #1

If you want to be pissed off about anything, then look no further than Alabama having the fifth-ranked running back tandem. Harris and Scarborough collectively have less than 60 career carries. Talk about an unproven commodity...

You are preaching to the choir my friend. We all agree that LF is special and Guice is also an exceptional player. We would all rank them 1, as would most neutral observers.

Mark my words, once 7 makes his jump to the NFL, Guice will be in the Heisman conversation. Not a single doubt in my mind.
The only reason he isn't in the early Heisman talks this season is he's got a once in a lifetime talent right in front of him.

While I disagree with the logic, I understand the point. But how, in one breath, do you knock a tandem that includes a guy that will likely end up the #2 all-time leading SEC rusher, down to #3 because the backup is unproven, and have Bama's duo all the way up at #5? How many combined carries does Bama's duo have?

I saw that. Laura Rutledge called him out. I wish someone would have asked him, "Okay, if you really believe that and could pick any of these tandems to be on your team, are you really not picking Fournette/Guice."
I also think Sony Michel is vastly overrated. Have seen him in person twice and just haven't been impressed. Solid back but nothing special.
