i am fully aware of how many games miles has won. but when you pay 3.5 to 4 million dollars for a coach you dont expect them coaching blunders in championship games. im sure there are plenty of coaches out there who would love to have miles job. im not saying i want him to leave just get his shite together

Great info! Actually the percentage of "negatigers" is minuscule. They make a lot of noise and a lot of wind, but that's all. Our team went 13-1 this season and ranked #2 at the end. The BCS loss was heartbreaking. Now we move on, leaving all the conspiracy rumors behind.

Quite a good analogy.

And there was Miles, in his Kamikaze headband, refusing to deviate his JJ Airplane from its Kamikaze course, even tho it was obvious to all that he was headed straight for suicide.

BANZAI !!! ***** CRASH !!!!!! *******

Larry Coker was 60-15 at Miami. Now coaching the roadrunners of UTSA. Last three seasons were 9-3; 9-3 and then 7-6.

Of course Miles is a better coach. But the record doesn't mean a darn thing. It's going to come down to beating key teams (Bama) and winning championships...not squandering them...

Certainly not blowing a gasket at kickoff and getting smoked.

I like Miles...but that's real.

2 SEC Championships
1 National Championship
3-3 against the "great" Nick Saban and have won 2 of the last 3 including the one in Nov. in their backyard. LSU also beat 2 other top 3 teams.

THe record wouldn't matter is he was the coach at Boise St. where you play noone. The record is relevant when you think about the fact that 6 of his 7 years he is competing in a conference that has won the national championship.

I can assure you CLM is NOT arrogant and that's from personal experience!

You know this is all well and good, and most of us know that *CLM is a good, maybe even a great coach (sometimes). But given this fact, it doesn't mean we can't be frustrated out of our minds (given his high standing on your percentage chart) when he and his team turns in a performance like they did on January 9th.

This...is an accurate summation of most on those who love LSU. We will, very often, disagree but I am glad Les is our coach. How many other coaches have beaten Nick three times?

He's earned 2012 and 2013 so I'm good with hime for at least 2 more seasons. After that we'll have to wait and see. He nor anyone else does not get "coach for life" status in today's high stakes NCAA football

He did. Not many teams have to beat a conference/division rival TWICE in a season.

Remember, it was Saban who rode Miles' coattails to NOLA, not the other way around.

As for your second whine...

2007 ring a bell?

What some of you look at as a "negatiger" (how sophomoric and juvenile), I see as a healthy debate from the other side, something that will make the program even better. A rose colored glasses, P&G kool-aid mentality will put our program in Penn St. like "you can't question us, we know best mind set", and could spell disaster in the long term. I would argue that as fans, just like with our government as citizens, we want to keep the fire fully lit under their asses at all times.

There is no benefit to the negativity.

Many think its constructive criticism but its not. Most of it is just negativity.

There are external forces that are trying to tear down CLM and LSU. The negativity from within is just an added bonus.

Perception is reality and when much of LSU's perception within its own fan base is this negative its going to affect the program negatively. If continued it will take an elite program into troubled territory in a hurry.

I heard from an inside source that Les Miles wouldn't coach pro-bono either.
Jeez, I thought he was a Tiger!
Didn't realize he was so greedy.
