yep and the funny thing is if he has a season close to what he had last year, he will surpass all those guys in winning percentage.

OU will be down somewhat
Bama will be down somewhat plus we get them at TS
Texas will be down again
Carroll and Tressel are gone and Meyer is at OSU.

I guess if Les goes 14-0 and wins the natty, people will then bitch that we didn't have a repeat.

None what so ever!

That's the thing these folks will never get...negativity toward LSU, a coach, or a player does nothing to help/aid anything LSU.

I'm not talkin bout being upset/pissed/disappointed over a loss. That's natural and to be expected, but this whining/tearing down/pissing on LSU a week/2 weeks/3 weeks/ almost a month later when the season is done is silly and of NO benefit to LSU.

If we can't be content/happy/respectful/admire 13-1, SEC Champs, and playing in the BCSCG, even if we played a bad game, then we have become clueless to the effort required by players/coaches to regularly compete at an elite level in the college/SEC football of today.

Not really with today's "what have you done for me lately" mentality. Pussies like to whine and moan if things aren't perfect for them.

I wouldn't trade Les for any coach in the nation. He's led our program to an elite level and kept it there. With JJ gone we eliminate a huge hole at QB and Les wins his 2nd BCS Championship next year

Who was responsible for JJ starting in 2009, 2010 and the last five games of 2011?

Same coach that went 33-7 (82.5%) over that time frame?

Miles would have lost three or four games last year without that bar fight. His conduct during the championship game was literally inexplicable, thus all the crazy stories about pre-game fights etc.

Thanks bruh. Now I know I can ignore any post you make in the future.

I know one thing......If i were an upcoming coach or an established big name coach .....I would not come to LSU.

You are totally correct. It also has an effect on recruiting. When potential recruits, sometime live and in person on a gameday visit, see our"fans" boo our players for 3 years in a row it ha no positive effect. When they read this board, and they do, and see how the fans act toward THE WINNINGEST COACH IN LSU HISTORY, it serves no positives.

He's earned 2012 and 2013 so I'm good with hime for at least 2 more seasons. After that we'll have to wait and see. He nor anyone else does not get "coach for life" status in today's high stakes NCAA football

Holy shite. Are you serious? He's earned just two years? Since being hired , LSU has the most wins of ANY sec team as you say just two years? I frickin hate our ignorant fanbase

Last season was the 4th best in a 100+ years of LSU football.

Les, within the last 5 years, owns two of the best 4 seasons in LSU history.

LSU is winning 81% of all games, has the most SEC wins, the most SECW championships, as many SEC championships, and has played in as many BCSCGs in the last 7 years as any school in college football.

If we can't admire/enjoy/appreciate/respect such elite results, we need to seek help from a mental health provider cause we are losing touch with college football/SEC football reality.

January 9th 2012 ... A day that will live in infamy. It was the best of times and the worst of times.

Problem with Miles is he can always figure out a way to screw up a good thing and make himself look really stupid. He is a good coach looking for a disaster.

A bad day for LSU football, but luckily for some...one bad day does not blind us to an otherwise remarkable, elite season.

If you want to continue to beat someone up over LSU playing poorly in a BCSCG, knock yourself out.

I've moved on and thank the team for giving me another elite season of LSU football.

He is a good coach

He's a coach with an elite record for success obtained during a time SEC football was as good and deep as college football has ever seen.

Since I have followed LSU football a tad longer than 2002, I'll take it and say thank you very much...others can do as they please.
