He never even lost 4 games in a season at Houston so how was he upset 4 times in one year there?

Or is it that the run/pass option offense is basically unstoppable if ran right. That's the opinion of Nick Saban. Plus it is just common sense to show your opponent respect. Even if you think that they are overmatched. Lastly, they cheat bigger in Texas.

This is going to be a repeat of the Peach Bowl beating that we put on the Canes. A total beat down.

No he didn’t his worst record was 9-3 at Houston, you’re gonna double down on being wrong wtf? You’re counting a game he didn’t even coach in against him.

And that’s completely beside the point anyway, it was a tongue in check comment that has nothing to do with the LSU game. LSU is a top ranked team and that’s the part that applies here. He’s 13-4 or 12-5 vs top ranked opponents and bowl games. So apart from haggling over your constant incorrect claims about his record at Houston the fact is he’s really good in big games which is why it’s ignorant to think LSU will just walk in there and blow them out.

I see this being a Miami style arse whipping. 28-3/31-3 at half.

I don’t know about all this but I’d like a solid victory simply because I sat in the stands of the 2003 Cotton Bowl, froze my balls off, and we lost mainly because our QB sucked and UT’s WR Roy Jones or Williams or whatever his name was went off on us for 8 miles of YAC. I’d like to square the deal on this game since they got us on the last one. Besides my dad went to UT and I don’t want to hear any shite from him.

I think they are overrated, but do you think we will be winning 31-3 at halftime? That was my entire point. I’m not saying the game will be close either. Texas is also better then Miami was.

We are a better team than Texas. We have more talent than them at almost every position on the field. They don't match up well with LSU either. It will take LSU fricking giving them the game with blown assignments, missed plays, and turnovers for them to beat us. Texas cannot beat LSU head up if both teams are playing their best, it just won't happen.

What do you expect, they get every single shred of info from an echo chamber. Nobody knows what we will look like on offense at all and apparently they can’t wrap their minds around Texas even being ranked because they’ve never watched them play. There are some trends that favor us but there are also matchups and variables that favor Texas. It’s going to be a war and hopefully the passing game is used enough in week 1 to sharpen our execution. The playcalling vs Ga. Southern may determine the Texas game.

This is as simple as I can put it. If I had the choice to either be coaching Texas' team vs LSU or coaching LSU vs texas, in 1 game with everything I own on the line, it would be LSU all day everyday. I don't think anyone would disagree with that...Unless they are Texas fans and are biased. LSU has the better team and more talent, that's not a debate.

Herman’s teams historically play well vs teams that are favored against them.

They’re known for shitting the bed against teams they have no business losing against.

I completely agree but that’s been the case in 30 of 34 games under Ed Orgeron yet our record isn’t 30-4 its 25-9. You’re also leaving out important aspects like home field advantage, special teams and schematic matchups. Your logic suggests that chalk wins 100% of the time and we all know that isn’t true. I think LSU can go into Austin and get a win and I’m not accusing you of this but these predictions of us blowing their doors off by 28 points or having a 31-3 halftime lead is just ridiculous. Texas isn’t Miami 2018 and the game isn’t at a neutral site. Miami was a joke, a 6 loss team and we didn’t even beat them by that much. Texas was the Big-12 runner up a year ahead of schedule and is at home. And besides all that when was the last time we went on the road vs a top 10 team and won by 28 points or more?
