1) don’t discredit Ole Miss’s defense. That’s a unit that’s greatly improved. They were flying all over the field and found a way to cut down on the rampant PIs they were committing earlier in the year.
2) Nuss struggled last night. He missed some pretty easy pitch and catch throws, sailed many, threw into double coverage, INTs, didn’t look down field for tuck and run opportunities…
It was an uncharacteristic display from him last night. Yeah he’s sailed some here and there all year, but last night was worse. Hopefully that’s his floor and he refocuses.
Defense was stellar. Could not have asked for more from that unit.

Losing to USC is a big nothing if we win out. If we don't, it's not gonna matter much. I do believe that if we finish 10-2 we are in. There will be teams with 3 losses who make it from time to time. (Reference 2007 LSU)

Defense definitively made strides
Forward and are getting better.
The offense regressed and looked absolutely horrid at times. Kellys teams always start slow and look discombobulated. We also start every season looking lost in the 1st game:
He’s got to fix that if he wants to win championships and be successful in BR.

This the the way. His teams are NEVER ready at the start of the season, game, etc. That is what make the taking the ball first even more infuriating, he constantly puts his team in a bad situation by doing that.

Or throw more 5-10yd passes instead of looking like an early 1980’s NFL offense. He threw deep way too often.
