Shaq makes normal big people look small and small people look tiny.

LSU has had other older players.
Josh Booty comes to mind.

No other school is looking for a 7th yr, chronically injured rb.

My hopes are not sky high. I learned that during the past 6 years.

I doubt Emery is chasing dollars. Dude surely knows he isn’t worth that much. I imagine he wants to have a chance to put up some numbers and stay healthy and maybe get drafted next year.

Don’t want to hijack this threat and not trying to but somewhere in all the debating NIL, making players “employees”, etc. someone pointed out that we are heading to no 5-year or age eligibility rules as it is illegal to deny employment to a qualified candidate. Al Bundy can come out of retirement and lace up the cleats!

I don't know that anyone here is "getting their hopes up"

Imagine having Burrow for 7 years

Poor guy just can't stay healthy. His entire career is one big "What if?" He had a ton of talent, but i doubt we'll ever get to see him at 100% for 12 games. In college or the NFL.

If I could play a college sport in my 11th year, I would do it.

Can he draw social security and still be eligible to play?
