LSU's hopes rest on the shoulders of a walk on quarterback. No wonder we needed to keep Les.

thanks for the thread

I was thinking of him last night

maybe

BH looks awful - not sure what a coach can do to throw the ball to the open guy

A QB at LSU would fix lots of issues

Harris actually did work most of the summer with an elite QB coach. Just saying.

I'm sorry if I can't take your sources seriously considering the past few days.

Give me poise and confidence versus "arm like a cannon". You know, like most of the QB's we play in the SEC, with the exception of Allen Saturday night. Improved pass rush had a lot to do with that.

I'm all aboard. It's obvious that Harris with his current coaching is not an answer. The guy has a cannon and that's about it for now.
McMillan hopefully will get his chance this coming year. My source for what it's worth said that McMillan had been the most impressive QB in the offseason but would not get a shot because of Miles loyalty to Harris. Sounds typical Miles. Also, source was at every practice, just saying.
a couple days ago the rant's sources said Etling looked like the best QB in practice. Wonder what happened...

Yea I understand. No doubt they have issues. It was a statement of their opinion during early season. I don't care if you take the source seriously. I certainly don't take anything too seriously on this board either.

This could be said about a lot of horrible college players

I think people too easily forget that Brandon Harris is basically a redshirt freshman QB starting in the SEC. As rough as he looked, I expect major improvements this offseason.

Looking at your post history, you were defending Harris before the UF game and said Harris was going to "school" UF. if you really know somebody that was at every practice and knew how the QBs looked in practice, weird that you would support harris if the source really did say McMillan looked the best.

Yes, but Harris and our other QBs need that coach AT LSU. Our QBs need the coaching consistency.

I actually think its worse to go work with an elite QB coach, then go back home to your OC (who likes to think he's also an elite QB coach).

Well at this point, we are pretty much shite out of luck in regards to ever signing a highly touted High School kid again. So well have to hope that we hit the jackpot once with a 3star guy or a transfer. Maybe well luck up and he or Etling will be good.
