He'll be a redshirt freshman who showed promise in the Spring game after leading his HS team to state championships. He's smart and I think will prove capable of distributing the ball to our playmakers and managing the game efficiently.

He looked good in the spring game and was successful in high school? How refreshing.

I see him as more of the successor than the savior

Harris will be a 4 year guy and McMillan will compete for the starting job when he is a RS junior.

However good he was when he got to campus, he is now worse....That's just the path of an LSU QB with no development

Harris is not the answer. No improvement over the season. You can blame the coaches but that assumes Harris is incapable of improving without a top QB coach. For example, can anyone name Drew Brees' QB coach at Purdue? I can't. Why? Probaby because Brees didn't need an elite QB coach to be an elite QB. You either have it or you don't.

I'm all aboard. It's obvious that Harris with his current coaching is not an answer. The guy has a cannon and that's about it for now.
McMillan hopefully will get his chance this coming year. My source for what it's worth said that McMillan had been the most impressive QB in the offseason but would not get a shot because of Miles loyalty to Harris. Sounds typical Miles. Also, source was at every practice, just saying.

Hopefully a pure pocket passer with a cannon taught to play QB somewhere else will fingerbang a sloot over the Christmas break and have to transfer here

If I hear that one more time...

Nothin against you but that phrase pretty much just elicits a gag response from me anymore.

My source... Lol

Yea, I understand. It's one of the coaches actually, but I'm not going to say his name on this board out of respect. So you can draw your conclusions thereafter.
In the future I may just say, this guy I know, lol.
