Fair question—not that I owe you an explanation, but I’ve been going to LSU games since I was in the womb, all 3 major sports, and I donate thousands to the school every year. I’m in a field where LSU was by far not the best option. LSU means a lot to me and I do plan on getting my doctorate there if I ever retire, just to say I’m an alumnus.
Re: shitting on Louisiana. There’s no place I’d rather be from. But after seeing what life is like outside of Louisiana, I’ll pass on ever living there again, save for attending LSU for my doctorate.

You guys on this board have this strange comparison fallacy where you think guys are incomparable unless they’re completely equal. You can compare traits and other things to players that are not on the same level, it’s done all the time so stop with the “you can’t compare player X to player Y” nonsense. Nobody here is saying Jones is better than Burrow but you can compare them which is what you’re doing when you say one is better than the other anyway.
