TBH when lsu is playing I just want a good game. If they win, well they are suppose to win...if ya'll lose I just don't want it on a blown call or a missed penalty. Honestly, I don't cheer for or against lsu. I have a love for all sports and a love for the integrity of the sport. Seaux as long as the game is played clean I'm all good.

Seriously though, I have a lot of good friends and family members who are UL-L fans. And to be honest, I feel kind of the same way about all the other state teams in that I don't care if they win or lose but I try not to pull against them. It's hard for me to pull against kids who are from our state playing on a team from Louisiana. That's unless they are playing the Tigers...

I want the kids in this state to go wherever they feel their talents will be used the most. I want Louisiana on the map for recruiting and if that means he'll go to LaTech/McNeese or wherever then so be it.

I grew up in Baton Rouge, grew up an LSU fan. I went to USL (UL Lafayette), I live in Lafayette and I tailgate a lot out at Cajun Field. I can tell you there are some people who hate LSU in Laf. They don't hate LSU because they are jealous - they hate the fact that people in Acadiana who have no ties to LSU cheer for the Tigers and do not support ULL. That's who they really hate.
But, I can tell you that there are a lot of people here like me. I pull for both LSU and ULL.
I have tons of ties to both LSU and USL. I don't give a shite what either side thinks.
Be happy for ULL and LSU. They are both good ball clubs, good programs that rep LA. well.

That's pretty much the real answer here. As a UL(L) grad, I've mentioned in other threads that I definitely pull for both schools. Even as a lifelong Saints fan, I get aggravated of how many fans jumped on the bandwagon after the 2009 Super Bowl season. I guess that's what happens when you win. You see people join your fan base who you never would have thought would give a rat's arse about that particular sport.
