I’m assuming that the rules apply to Texas just like they apply to every other team in the SEC.

Don’t worry. The SEC is going to get the crap sued out of them, and their impromptu rule to disenfranchise these 2022 players is not going to hold up in court.

They'll try to say he didn't sign a contact and was basically on a try out...
But he didn't withdraw from the draft, as far as I know, which is a deal breaker according to the released policy
