I'm hearing it's a torn ACL from some guys inside football ops.

I think fans want to see ZM8 for one more time because he's been so spot on this year. He's clearly done enough to be considered a late 1st Rd or 2nd Rd pick for some franchise [which is something I never thought would happen].

It would be wise as far as the '14 campaign goes to use the December bowl practices to get as much time in with Jennings as possible. Especially when this offense is made up of pretty green underclassmen.

Wouldn't be shocking because that's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it. In that case, it's sad because his NFL stock is probably gone now. Thanks Stud. You owe Mett some money.

AJ will be your starter for the bowl game. It's very sad to see Mett's career end on this note and I wish him nothing but luck in the NFL.

that's pretty much the minimum injury he could have (just from watching the video)

I'll be devastated if I don't get to see him play again. Seriously. Love the guy.

Shea Dixon confirmed that AJ will probably start in the bowl game. Not good for Mett's draft hopes if true.

Probably isn't confirmation.

I do wish Mettenberger all the best, and hope he is okay, however, I want to see Jennings play the full bowl game. It would be intriguing to watch him against a quality opponent for 4 quarters. It should help his development for next year.

So it's a definite possibility.

He'll have his chance next season if he's as good as advertised. Mett deserves to start if he's healthy. This is his team. AJ's time will come. Besides, Miles really needs to win the bowl game this time. Four staight bowl loses would not be good. I think we need Mett's leadership and experience out there, if he is cleared to play. You don't bench a senior QB in his final game because you want to see how next year's QB will look in a full game.
