"He brought In an analyst in Kerry cooks and fired raymond."

Actually he brought in a HS coach Robert Steeples - even more embarrassing

No he needs to clean house including Raymond and Baker. All connection to Kelly needs to be gone.
Raymond and Frank are not "connections to Kelly."

The only connection to Kelly on this entire staff was Joe Sloan, who is no longer here.

This is not the Orgeron firing where it was a bunch of moron yes men whose culture needed to be cleaned out of the program. The assistants on this staff are not Kelly sycophants.

Frank and Raymond will be kept in some capacity because they are money recruiting (and Raymond is good with DBs).

New guy gets to pick DC.

I agree, defense looks bad at times because you have #18 at QB that causes a chain efffect.

Has to be. It was a huge mistake for BK not to keep him.

No. The house must be totally cleaned out. Seperate the administration from the coaching staff. To much under the table mouth chomping and back stabbing. The new coach must clean it 100%. Facts.

Defense looks bad in the first half of plenty of games against mobile qbs. Not sure where this narrative of his defense looks bad only when on the field comes from. How many tds did we give up in the first half vs ole miss, vandy, and texas am?

Baker needs to go, raymond needs to stay.

Blake is going to be very questionable. That defense got most of the NIL money and has been absolutely gashed with any offense that has a pulse.

That's what Kelly did, and then had to go begging a couple to come back and try and save him.

we have a few good DBs we want back.

cause he didnt have a staff.

For example, Lane has a loaded staff that will follow

I'll say this just because Wilson and Raymond are solid coaches and better recruiters, either they go or the AD/assistant AD goes. Jmo. The new Head Coach needs a staff who are exclusive to him and him only.

Baker would be good if the new coach has a defensive mind and can teach Baker about areas his defense does not currently excel at. Namely containment and gap integrity.

Raymond is the perfect mix of coaching ability, recruiting ability, and name recognition. He is not the best at any one of those three, but pretty close to elite in all three.

Edit: all that being said, I think the correct thing for LSU administration to do is to request the new coach give them evaluation and consideration to be on his staff, but not force it.

Not true the last 2 games. They were getting gashed.

Not sold on Baker. We paid him a boatload of money and gave him a quality defense and I haven’t seen them play their best in big games.
