Again, not saying that there weren’t bullshite calls. Just saying that they’re not the reason we lost. Both statements can be true.

This game pissed me off more than any this year. Even getting shite stomped by A&M didn’t bother me as much.

It was very clear the SEC saw a playoff team vs a team whose season is over and made it very clear to push the scales one way to protect them.

They were extremely heavy handed against LSU. I legitimately would have rather lost by 49 and have the game called fairly than this bullshite.

With how pervasive sports gambling has become, how much money is floating around, what the FBI busted in the the NBA.

100% chance the SEC tells crews to favor their play off contenders.

Correct

LSU wasn’t good enough to win. Just unnecessary but completely predictable if you’ve paid attention to this conference long enough

If anyone takes football for an actually sport in this day and time they are only fooling themselves. I tend to view it more and more as entertainment like wrestling and not as a true sport any longer. It’s not just the LSU game although Bama always gets favored, it’s all football, college and NFL. It’s a joke, if I can choose between football or a day on the water or in the woods with family and friends I won’t choose football because it’s utter BS 90% of the time. The college replay system is crafted to control the outcome. There are no challenges, rules and replay calls are subjective. We replayed 4 lsu plays in a row and then lsu and bama are fighting for the ball on a throw when lsu comes up with it and no one even looks at it. Such a farce. Football used to be about men now it’s just a money grab and has become part of what makes the world go around. Kind of like La - no one likes the outcome in our political system but no one really does anything about it other than live with the BS and hope for a different outcome.

I quit watching the NFL years ago due to the obvious game rigging. It is harder for me to let go of LSU because that is my alma mater and I've been going to games since I was six.

Again, it isn't just LSU games. The entire conference has been blatantly rigging games for decades and this year it is really, really bad.

That was funny. I can't remember another one like that that went LSU'S way. Where the "victimized" player asks for a penalty and it gets called.

If that's the case, I'd really like to see LSU coach up some dirty players and headhunt QB's and even refs when the officiating gets this filthy.

If they have to bring an extra officiating crew just to make sure they can call the whole game, maybe they'll start calling it more fairly.

I hate to be this way, but I am at this point, especially when they allow player safety to be compromised.

You allow a player to be hit late and it isn't called? I'm taking down that players number and, like hockey, I'm sending in a goon to take out his knees. This will hurt the teams the refs are protecting and hopefully get them to call the games appropriately.

No. Losers blame refs.

I say that losers don’t call out bullshite and accept getting screwed. I’ll also call you a fool for believing in this traditional wisdom at this point, it was established on the principle that calls go both ways.

I didn’t really watch intently, was at a party. But the slide alone could have changed the outcome of the game. Completely subjective, after the fact decision that was objectively wrong. It’s simply not acceptable to me to have refs change the outcome of plays in ways that cannot be distributed evenly.

College football, the SEC particularly, has turned into a pretty terrible product. Awful calls and reviews that drag out games that are starting to require a financial investment to keep interest in. I mean I don’t even really feel the need for my boys to care about LSU football at this point because of how much the game has changed for the worse.

The Vandy game was very similar in terms of production. It’s an obvious pattern. So call me a loser, I don’t care, I may notice it by virtue of me being an LSU fan - but ESPN and its betting culture is pushing its production onto the field and affecting games.

Anything with that much money involved as well as as much subjectivity as football will be corrupt as corrupt can possibly be. It’s always been that way.

I’d honestly wish they’d just go the WWE route, admit it, then add some manufactured drama and excitement. Hell ESPN even covers wrasslin now.

SEC officiating is atrocious. We know this. But y'all will never convince me that there's a grand conspiracy to tip the scales toward specific teams. 1, I don't think SEC officials are smart enough to carry out such an operation, and 2, if it were true and the outcome is predetermined then what reason does anyone have to watch?

And that's just a terribly depressing thought that I prefer to ignore.

Look at the real cause

Money
Billionaires running the show
NIL
Betting

Once you get the betting involved legal like we have, Bar Stool Sport, ESPN and all the on line betting services then it is the wild wild West.

It even seemed the announcers are in on it, they basically stayed mum

Bama is still the cash cow and lord Saban sits in the box with a buzzer tied to B-ham. He buzz when to throw a flag and when to hold it they have to relay the msg to the refs. It’s in the SEC Rules Handbook page 13 sub section 13A Bama rules

After the ref turned the other way when Zavion was flipped upside down 5 yards out of bounds- I ran to Fanduel and bet the house on Bama in game spread. I knew at that point it was fixed.

The reason you can find every documentary, podcast, investigative series about every topic in human history under the sun expect for officiating integrity. You want to know what Rogan podcast would do numbers? Get an SEC ref on there.

But it will never happen. Because they are super protected. The powers that be know the minute the consumer sees how the sausage is made, we would all stop eating it.

On one hand you admit the SEC officials are atrocious, but on the other hand, despite what you see weekly, you don't think it is a "conspiracy".

I don't think it is a conspiracy at all. To me, it is so blatant and obvious that it is just part of the product now. If you are willing to ignore what you are seeing, have it at. You are the type of fan they are targeting anyway.

At this point I expect it to happen, and I don't think it makes me a loon for pointing out the obvious.

Again, they can do this and get away with it due to the entertainment clause. Same with the NFL and NBA, two other products that are clearly rigged. This isn't a conspiracy either. It is a court documented case.

Now if they actual players are caught fixing games, THEY get in trouble, which I think is bullshite honestly. But that's another topic.
