Nobody else wants his goofy arse. Jeez. Take off the purple-tinted glasses for one sec. He was never a serious contender for any of the jobs that his name was associated with. He used those opportunities to get either a pay raise or a contract extension from LSU. Don't get your panties all in a wad. He's not going anywhere.

This is why I love miles so much. He has everyone fooled. Fact of the matter is, who the hell are you going to get that is better then miles AND will STAY at LSU?? LSU may be one of the top programs, but it's not exactly a final destination. We could in up with a coach that could set the program back 10 years.

Fact is, people that want a better coach, really want someone better then Saban. But his is the best, and miles has gone toe to toe with him over the years.

He is perfect for us.

Why, why would he leave Alabama, the pinnacle of success in college football, where he is adored as a demi-god? To go to Texas,

According to Nola.com LSU beat writer Jim Kleinpeter Saban might be having financial problems that could push him to Texas. Read this on his Friday LSU chat.

I disagree. LSU is now a final destination job. One of the top 10 jobs in college football

What kind of financial problems could someone have that never has time to even spend his millions?

Maybe. Miles is purely strategic. Take all the scheduling whining he has been doing. Well, miles knows he can absolutely beat everyone on the schedule, as a matter of fact, he probably thinks our schedule really isn't that hard compared to some previous ones.

He believes he will win, and when he does, it will be against that much harder perceived schedule. Which ultimately looks a lot better for LSU. Keep preaching the hard schedule coach.

I mean, we get Florida at aTm at home and Georgia is the one game we could afford to lose as long as we beat bama.

He is sly like a fox I tell ya.

ain't reading all of this, but he'll likely get another raise and extension out of this, his agent knows Alleva's such a puss, he may as well try it again

Miles daughter is at UT on their swim team and she went there specifically to be near home and not have to compete vrs SEC schools. He won't be going to UT.

Friday LSU Chat

See around halfway or so into the chat. Says it pretty matter of fact. IDK thought it was weird when I read it.

Miles has his WTF moments but I don't see him being looked at by UT.

Y'all right, Saban didn't get fired from Miami because he realized he had no control over grown arse men! Bama gig fell in his lap and it was all probably worked out a year in advance!

UT will push for a high profile, strong coach that will be the new sheriff in town and if they can't get who they want from college then look for them to bring a ex-pro coach out of retirement. Like a John Gruden(?) per say.

I live in Austin and don't claim to have the pulse of the majority. That said, I have heard local radio hosts and callers joke about Les many times.

I'm sure Saban controls his money tighter than his team.

that's a good one, if they're laughing at the LSU HC and his successes, they must be rolling on the floor watching an ex-LSU assistant flounder and squander away all those ridiculous resources

The only place Les would go would be Michigan. Les loves Louisiana and turned UM down twice. He's staying as long as he wants.
