I think he will, he has very good offensive skills including range and the NBA isn’t big on defense anymore.

He takes like 1 a game, putting 1 completely uncontested 3 up a game doesnt mean you have a range. He's an around the basket player 98% of the time.

When you say someone has a range you are saying they can shoot it from distance with some accuracy. How many a player takes a game is usually where the coach thinks you should be shooting from. Wade already has plenty of guards to take the threes and wants Duop under the basket as he is our only threat there.

No, might be picked up by a team and put on their developmental league team.

could see a team taking him in the late rounds.

He's for sure a 3rd round lock.

He could be an Australian League legend. To give you an idea of how weak that league is, Darcy Malone plays in it. Terrance Ferguson got pretty decent money playing there instead of Alabama.

These are always my favorite rant threads. Pop up every year after the halfway point of the season every time a player has a stretch of pretty good games.

"Is Andre Stringer going to be drafted this year??" Nope

No the average 22 y/o PF who is not a very good rebounder and has a pretty limited offensive skill set will not be drafted.

I see it as a long shot. I love the kid, he gives it his all, and when he gets the ball within 8 feet and is not doubled he has been darn near automatic.

But he does not rebound for his size, he struggles defending in the post and is totally exposed on high ball screen switches consistently, and is not the rim protector one would hope for in a kid his size.

The NBA has evolved into a league were these athletic bigs play out on the perimeter much more than in the post and he would be eaten alive trying to guard most of those guys.

I hope for the best for him, but even if a team takes a late second round flyer on him I would be surprise, but pleasantly so, if he could stick on a roster for any length of time.

The G league has no defense at all. Josh Gray dominated the G league. Duop at least gets into the G league. He will sign a contract with a team, may not get drafted, but will get plenty opportunities.

His development of an outside shot has impressed me but physically he is behind the curve. Dude also has terrible hands, but a really solid left shoulder jump hook. If he gets down another 1-2 post moves he might be a guy that pops up on a roster one day. Otherwise he’ll have a solid career somewhere at a different level.

And was recently rewarded with a 10-day contract with the Suns, congrats to Josh.

He has terrific range for "pic & pops" at 3 popping line. This skill will be valued at the NBA level. But agree with the rest of your assessment. He has lots of work to do defensively and toughness inside.

Nope. Nobody was a post player that can’t play D or rebound

I’d love to see it but no way. It’s really hard to get drafted in the NBA
