Moo State can't score much on the Tigers but their defense is stout enough to keep it close into the 4th qtr when LSU will pull away . Prolly 27-10 .

Poor chance at best.

I wouldn't want to trade places with them.

You have to consider who has actually beat us in TS at night recently.. Either Moo St is a legit team (then they have a chance) or not and we'll have to give them the game.

every team in D-1 has a chance in their game.

shite happens.

There are upsets every week. No one thought that James Madison, AA football championship division would beat Va Tech.
JMU is in the top ten in their division.
Every year teams in the top ten of the next lower D1 division beat big teams. The week before Jacksonville, which won the OVC last year, but didnt do well in the tourney, beat Ole Miss.

So it seems that most teams could beat any team.

When you throw in luck, the way a ball will be barely tipped and then intercepted, or that one play where the LSU DB tipped the ball and the Florida player got it and took off?
That stuff happens. Fumbles are recovered, on sides kicks recovered.

So yes, Miss State could win and LSU could then turn around and win all the rest of its games, including Bama and Florida and USCe in the SEC CG and then beat TCU 38 to 16 in the Sugar Bowl.

Anyone who says a team has no chance is a fool...

LSU vs UAB
Alabama vs ULM
Appalachian State vs Michigan
Virginia Tech vs James Madison
Ole Miss vs Jacksonville State
Stanford vs USC

Parity is abound

Last season, LSU played MSU on a wet, muddy field neutralizing the speed advantage and had virtually everything that could go wrong...go wrong

like chad jones' punt return? so unlucky

the miracle goaline stand at the end that required a once in 5 years play by chad jones and a retarded play by their QB to end it?

i seriously doubt our inept offense that can only run the ball puts up 27 against MSU

I am going to the game so they they might have a shot. I have only had the opportunity to go to 2 LSU football games. Ole Miss in 97 and UF last year (both of which we lost). I was thinking of skipping it in case i jinx them again, but even we can't screw this game up...........

right?

last year has nothing to do with this year. why didn't you mention "law of averages" (also doesn't apply)?

As Tu mentioned EVERYONE has a chance. However, based on our D play so far, not likely.

I don't think AU's D is better than ours. MissST scored one TD v AU's D. 4 3 and outs one of those - 13 yds, two of them for 0 yds, one for 9. Two fumbles and a pick.

I know I know sounds like our O but our D is better than AU.

on the same token, is MSU's D worse than Vandy's? will it wear down late?

also, is our offense as good as AUs? they didn't exactly light it up against MSU

AU slight advantage at QB...LSU big advantage at RB and WR...line may be a wash.

BUT THEY ARE PLAYING UNDER THE LIGHTS IN TIGER STADIUM.

you know it's going to be loud as hell until the start of the 4th quarter.

No people usually start leaving midway through the second so they can beat traffic

Because of the wins so far you can only be sarcastic but you can not knock what is taking place defensively on the field. I do not know what game you watched last week. Vandy never was really in the game the talent level showed nore than anything. It was just a matter of time before LSU had total control of that game. That is why what happened in the fourth quarter LSU wore them out.

With the defense that we have there is no use in taking chances just like last week it is just a matter of time before there is total domenation. The defense keeps getting better and better!

LSU 30 Miss St 3

Now there will be an exception to that rule when the talent level is non-existant such as Fla and Bama. However I believe we are ahead of Fla defensively at the moment and offensively also. We do have a better running game than Fla. and a little behind Bama. Defensively we are about even if noy ahead a little on Bama. So each of those two games are a toss-up if they are played this weekend. JMHO!
