You can speak for people, but I can't? A little hypocritical wouldn't you say?

If coach MM can pull KJ Williams from Murry life gets easier. Still needs a few recruits and about 5 more guys through the portal.

Sounds like you're the spokesman saying that that many will want McMahon to fail. I'm not sure what makes you think that's any different.

Just an ordinary individual who understands the current circumstances and think we are in better shape going forward.

I don't speak for others who share the view.

I understand everyone hyping the transfer portal and what a difference maker it can be. Be that as it may- who is going to want to come to LSU with a huge hammer hanging over its head. Whatever Wade built us into....it's gone. We aren't a destination spot right now. Look at the transfers we've gotten so far. A forward from Northwestern St and a guard from Murray St.
There's a reason why there's a giant exodus from the current roster and it's not solely because of Wade. We are about to get whacked and everyone knows it.

Played well vs LSU. Evidently he was better than some on our side.

Whom many were after.

Maybe understand the level of talent a bit more before making up your mind?

And Parker Edwards scored 25 against LSU.

You saying these guys are on par with Tari Eason, Adam Miller and Xavier Pinson? The level of transfers we've become accustomed to.

Parker Edwards gets a full scholarship and will be putting up NBA + distance threes big time for the next couple of years.

I think you could argue that Jerry Dinardo had the toughest job coming in for the major sports. McMahon will be up there with all the roster attrition. In regards to LSU athletics major sports O think whoever took over when football was at its worse would have had the toughest jobs.

Which ones came to LSU in Wade's first year?

Thanks...

Pretty much like the situation John Brady walked into…. Except no transfer portal back then. We have a tough situation. But a bit easier than the Dale Brown probation

Exactly. Think of the level of transfers that came in under Wade during his first year. And that was WITHOUT sanctions looming overhead. People who think we are just going to reload and be fine bc there's a magical transfer portal out there are out of their mind.

I would say it's actually pretty low pressure. It's a long term plan, you know you're getting paid, and almost anything can be blamed on the previous regime for several years.

Please tell the class what is factually incorrect in the statement that Wade took over a program coming off its worst SEC record in program history?
That team still had talent in players like Skylar Mays, Duop Reath, etc. And there were no sanctions looming over the program that would affect recruiting. Thanks to WW now there are.

Brady, and to a lesser extent, Wade, had it harder than McMahon if, for nothing else, one huge advantage McMahon has that no coaches prior to last year had, the immediate eligibility transfer rule.

That is a 2 way street. Without the immediate transfer rule, does the entire team transfer out this year?

You can’t wait to inject this weird statement in every McMahon or basketball thread. I’ve seen maybe a handful of haters who are mostly just bitter and will eventually get over it. I loved Wade but im 100% behind McMahon. It’s like you want there to be this widespread disdain of McMahon so you can “dunk on” wade fans yet it’s not there so you project it.

Just counting LSU basketball alone, the toughest jobs would be:
1. John Brady
2. Matt McMahon
3. Dale Brown
4. Johnny Jones
5. Will Wade
6. Trent Johnson
7. Press Maravich
