Denbrock would run it out of shotgun.

I would have kept one, possibly two drives going this past weekend if we had.

It drives me absolutely insane.

Even in 2021, when O had all but checked out, we ran several successful sneaks with Johnson.

I get that neither QB is very big, but smaller guys run successful sneaks every Friday Saturday and Sunday, along with some Mondays and Thursdays.

I’ll never understand why teams even outside of LSU continue to line up in the gun on 3rd or 4th and less than a yard. QB sneak and taking snaps from under center should be repped everyday in individual periods during practice. Much easier to pick up a few inches receiving the ball from under the center as opposed to catching it 5 yards behind the center and then making that ground back up.

If Drew brees at 5'11 can run a sneak, our qbs can run them. It baffles me we don't run a qb sneak and get 1 yard. Travis ran 1 and fell for 4

It’s weird because Denbrock/ Kelly offenses in the past had under the center formations. Not sure why they decided to only operate out of the gun here at LSU.

Daniels is not comfortable under center. It’s almost laughable that he cannot learn this basic skill.

That’s exactly whom I was picturing.

Both guys are bigger - it’s basically the simplest play in football.

To me the 4th down play call with everyone running outside breaking routes was more concerning than not attempting a QB sneak.

You want to sneak behind Turner ? Be my guest. He gets his rear end sent backwards every play.

JT Curtis made an interesting comment about going under center within 3 yds of the goal. It changes the call for the D line as they have more to account for.

So having a package of plays under center makes the D change what they want to do.

Staying in shotgun 24/7 is absolute madness and it has spread all the way to the NFL. I specifically remember Chicago getting stuffed on 4th and goal because they put Fields 5 yards back. Collinsworth was beside himself.
