Coming from you its a compliment. LF is more talented than Jeremy Hill and every person that gets paid to rank talented football players agree with me. I'll take that over some anonymous boy like you.

Doubt he gets any if any playing time at all this season. Fournette has a lot to prove as a freshman

Look at Hill's last 9 games once they/he figured out what he can do...104 yard/game in his last 9 is KILLING it for a rookie in the NFL. Just because LF is faster doesn't mean he's as talented a RUNNING back as Hill is right now. Lots more to be a running back than just having speed. LF has the potential to be the best rb LSU has ever had...I'm ready to see that happen over the next two years. LINK

You really believe this???????This team is still to young for this IMO.

We're older than State and Auburn, play four OOC cupcakes, and two terrible East teams... so yeah, I believe it.

I may agree with you here....But not on D.. But I still believe this is a down year for Bama and I think goes there and beats them

Bama's front seven will be among the best in CFB, but their secondary was terrible last year, and they're having to replace 3/4 starters with players that weren't good enough to beat out the other guys... and Cyrus Jones may not even still be on the team in November after his third DUI.

Also, every single scouting and recruiting scout agree with me. JILL was never once touted as the next Adrian Peterson.

J HILL wasn't even a top 20 Rb recruit in 2011.let alone the #1 overall recruit that LF was.
Now if you want to talk production at lsu then yeah Hill gets the nod. But as far as pure talent, Hill isnt close.

I love when people try to use recruiting ranking as an arguing point against a guy that actually has produced big at the college level and in the NFL. I'm sure the Bengals really care what Hill's rivals ranking was coming out of high school.

While he had a good year he wasn't KILLING IT. he had 1100 yards which comes to 64 yards per game. Which is good but far from KILLING it.

Hill wasn't even starting until the second half of the season. he had fewer than 10 carries 5 of the first 6 games, fewer than 5 in 3 of those. However, he rushed for 100+ in 5 of his last 9 games when he finally started getting the ball. For a rookie splitting time for much of the season, Hill had an incredible year

Absolutely. He was also one of the very best in college football his last year at LSU, but off field issues hurt him in getting the overall attention he should have.

However, LF has more potential than Hill. You don't find guys like LF very often who are so big yet can return kickoffs 100+ yards and actually run away from tacklers. LF started to show his huge potential mid way through the season, and then exploded his last couple of games. People defending Hill are upset, because Hill IS a very, very good NFL RB. If LF goes on to be as good as Hill, he will be successful. I think what people are saying here though is that even though Hill is very talented, LF has more talent and potential....which is why he was thought to be a once in a decade (or longer) RB. I don't think that's debatable. What's debatable is whether or not he is able to reach that potential. If he's healthy, I say he surpasses Hill and also becomes the best back to ever wear the purple and gold (sorry Billy). Time will tell.

We are talking about TALENT not production. I even said Hill was more productive at lsu. Good god.

Holy shite. You're using the production of a 22 year old to that of a 19 year old. When JHill was 19 he was NOT as talented as LF and every single person that GETS PAID to evaluate talent agrees with me.

I agree with this. If he has 15 TD's and 1500 yards that's a very successful year when splitting carries also if he scores that many TDs it bodes well for our offense. We just need around 21 points a game and I think we can win 10-11 games. Passing game HAS to step up. We need a 2100 Yd passer for about 15 TDs as well and that would be decent balance We are gonna be a run first team.

Won't get near enough carries.

I hope CLM dumps his idiotic RB subbing without rhyme or reason, such as taking the hot hand out (mostly LF) in big SEC games.

However, if the season goes well, LF should be sitting out all or most of the second halves against McNeese and the rent-a-wins.

He needs to get workhorse carries in the big conference games, but it won't be enough to net him 1800 yards for the season.

Doesn't mean he's not a great back or won't be a great NFL back.

Im not say JHILL isn't a great rb. HE IS MY FAVORITE LSU RB SINCE FAULK. I'm saying on pure talent, LF is more talented and every single person that GETS PAID to evaluate talent agrees with me.

I don't think so. He will, at most, get 300 carries. As good as he is, once you get that many carries, it's hard to average over 6 yards per.

A lot of u are forgetting he doesn't have 2 seniors in front of him this year that he had to split carries with that had already earned their stripes , he's the man this year
