So you're saying that a slip of the tongue followed by a joke shows that he's unfit as a coach? Christ, this has been a long summer.

Never said he was unfit. I said he was a doofus. Apparently through some great recruited talent, surrounding himself with a list of great assistant coaches, and a little gambling luck, he's seems to pull it out.

I like our national championship, Im glad we won it. It sucks to think that we are considered to have "backed into it".

Its more than just being a dumb arse who did exactly what all his sunshine pumpers promised he wouldn't. Compromise a national championship game to suit whatever braindead idea he had that would beat Alabama. Of all freaking teams, Alabama.

Win games, great. I still don't like him and I wont cry the day he's finally gone.

For one the program was more than just him. Johnny Jones was there as well.

Plus the tickets were free.

You honestly think JL would have saved that game for us? You're lying to yourself.

Don't know. Do you honestly think that not letting him try was a good coaching decision?

Les has the same weaknesses now as he did then, he's stubborn, it's the reason we have only won one national championship in his 7 seasons.

Make your own conclusions.

It's "fans" like you that almost make me wish we had someone like Nutt or Dooley to weed out some of you frickin malcontent douche bags.

Ok, fair enough. I guess I was assuming too much. Which player or players were you referring to which were held out by Les due to selfish/stupid reasons?

Listen dickhead, I was probably a fan when you were still dribbling down your daddy's leg. I pay a shite pot of money to see that doofus frick games at Ole Miss, against Tennessee and do absolutely nothing in the MNC this year. So yea, just like Cholly Mac or Mac Brown or any of a number of coaches, he's a great coach and he has an impressive record, but I just can't seem to give him the unfettered pass that you apologetic superfans do. Not for $3+ million a year.

Yes, He does. It's laughable at this point. If you are a LSU fan and you think LSU's coach isn't great coach, you have a personal biased against Coach Miles. Period! Coach Miles has kept this program at a very high level. If you know CFB, you know it's harder to maintain a program than to create one.

After Schembechler died, I remember reading an article that quoted Miles praising Bo for the way that he projected strength.

I think this is extremely important for Les. I think that as the HC, he really wants to be a symbol of strength for his team. I like the idea. There are gonna be tough times, the chips are down, you look to your leader, he's strong, he's in control, everybody feeds off of that. And to a large degree it works for him.

You listen to him speak and you can tell it is of the utmost importance for him to project strength. The ironic thing is, because of his syntax, and his quirks and gaffes, he's developed the image of a goofball.

So the fact that you're old makes you right? Arrogance.

Unfettered? I've never said he didn't frick the NC up, but to judge his entire career on that game alone is irresponsible.
And if you have a problem with all the money you apparently spend on his 3M/year salary, I've got an easy solution. Stop.

He's been here longer than any coach since Chally Mac. They're going to name a street or the stadium after him so unless he does what Paterno did he'll never be gone.

Pass? The man just won an SEC championship. And it wasn't his first. In the toughest division in the toughest conference in the NCAA. Nobody's giving him a pass. It's just facts.

Absolutely there are detractors. They've hated since he got here and will hate him until he leaves/retires. Not because the results haven't been there but because he doesn't attempt to be like Saban in everyway. We all know who they are but they aren't as vocal right now as they would like to be.

didn't you quit the board for a year when Saban took the bama job?
