Why do people here talk shite on our players? Cutrera was a solid player and who knows what he will run at the combine. Hopefully he gets a chance to play at the next level. I happen to think that he will be drafted if he has good measureables.

The NFL seems to love measurables. I would not be surprised if Cutrera is a late round pick on the basis of strong workouts. Also, I think people are being too harsh on him for THIS year in which he played pretty well.

Cutrera seems to me to be one of those guys who is and isn't very "athletic" depending on exactly what you mean by that term.

Some of you no clue. Just wait till combine day and heads will turn and without a doubt he will sign. Will not say anymore out of respect to him but some of you will be eating some serious crow.

Combine will definitely get him drafted. Where is the question. 5-6 I think. His bench will be off the charts. 40 will be 4.6 ish

You actually have to be invited to go to the combine.. I dont know how they will see these things..he's not a 250 college player.. the only way he gets looked at is if he gets some play at the LSU pro day..

Anything can happen..Brandon Siler was a 7th round pick in a good linbacker class...If the linebacker class is weak..He could get lucky and or sign as a free agent somewhere..

Cutrera played alright this year, all the LBs did

He did fine this year. Probably played as well if not better at LB as Alem did at DL.

Lester, just a littlr tid bit of info for you. Cutrera signed with an agent a few days ago and is training in atlanta for 8 weeks while living in a suite at an hotel. Nobody would invest all that money if they didnt expect a return. By the way, word is he is turning heads out there already. He was born for the combine and will get drafted. Even though he didnt get an invite to indy , pro day at lsu is all the same. Dixon didnt get an invite to indy either, means nothing.

Cutrera playing for Chavis one year and Pevato 3 years = 6th round - Free Agent

Cutrera playing for Chavis 4 years with a redshirt = 3rd to 6th round

Sucks for him. Riley and Coleman could have benefitted also. Sheppard should stay and get that 2nd year.

Stupid fricking post! He either has the potential and ability or he doesn't. Look at how shitty Snead was at Ole Miss this year, yet he'll still get drafted though. That also didn't stop all those poor, pitiful kids at Northwestern years ago under Peveto's tutaledge from getting drafted. If Cutrera is good enough he will get drafted, if not, he will be a free agent.

based on his game fim; no way. He blew

Cutrera's '09 stats per lsusports.net:

Total Tackles - 74
Tackles for Losses -10
Int's - 1

Additional Stats:
- 11 total tackles against bama
- 40 total tackles over the last 4 games

Those stats seem pretty good, especially when you take into account he was part of a rotation. And, the guy was a 4-year letterman.

Official LSU pro day prediction for Cutrera:

40 time < 4.7
bench press reps > Lester Earl's IQ
