Does it get worse?

A Jacksonville St. upset like they almost got on Auburn in 2015? Just as this team is dealing with all this negative press and disappointment?
A Southern Miss upset? They have confidence after beating UK now, don't they? They aren't a slouch either.
A MSU upset? No Dak, but they're desperate after yesterday.

C'mon, we're not losing those games.

Jacksonville St. isn't a bad squad at all

And we were supposed to lose yesterday?
Posted on 9/4/16 at 6:18 pm to CajunBattles
Hopefully we lose both so they can expedite this shite

I sure hope so for the sake of my sanity as a fan.

JSU thinks they can beat us, I promise you that. And they have good reason to think that.
Miss St and Southern Miss I think are W's for us, but that Jacksonville Stste game has me nervous. Especially after what I saw yesterday.

Glad that others see it.
It's a real concern....and I believe a legitimate one after yesterday.
At this point, I think anyone could pull off a win.

It often has to get worse before it can get better...someone high up needs to determine when is "enough enough"

People are getting a little too "the sky is falling" right now.
Yes, it sucks that we lost yesterday, I really wanted us to win, and thought we would. But let's try to calmly and rationally look at what happened-
we went up and played a team that went 11-3 last year, returned 7 starters on both offense and defense, played poorly, and still almost won. Wisconsin got shafted on the rankings, because they are probably going to have about the same record they had last season. No, they aren't a real threat to win the national title, but they aren't piss-poor either. They also happen to be perhaps the single biggest "anti-SEC" team out there right now, as their coach has continuously been ranting that they are just as good as an SEC team. That means they likely focused a lot more energy on showing they could beat us (a hated SEC team), while we were more focused on just trying to get the season started. More personal motivation for them.
Now, regarding all these future "sure losses" on our schedule, let's take a quick look. Bama looks unbelievably good, as always. We haven't seen Ole Miss yet. Auburn played a better opponent, but at home, and lost too. Arkansas escaped with a 1 pt win over La Tech. Miss St got ambushed by South Alabama. A&M, as always, scored and won early game (hasn't made a difference in the last 5 years). Florida struggled with UMass.
As of right now, we could still be the second best team in the West, and there's no real evidence to dispute that.
Team has work to do. Hopefully there are individuals that are embarrassed by their performances, that will work hard to improve what they show (I'm thinking O-line, and Guice fumbling the ball on his early chance, as well as Harris. And Dupre needs to catch balls that hit his hands, coverage or not- he's supposed to have been an elite WR).
This doesn't look like the season we all prayed for, but shite- we weren't curb-stomped by a patsy, we weren't ready to go against a solid team, and still could have won.
I'm not getting into the anti/pro Miles crap, I'm rooting for my team.

I could see a Lloyd Carr situation happening, sure. Especially if the coach doesn't take ownership of this thing, and squeezing every bit of talent from these studs like he is paid to do. Give these guys a chance to suceed.
They have no margin for error with the current scheme, it's senseless extra pressure

It's going to get worse - worse may not be loses to the remaining OOC teams but it's going to get worse...a lot worse.
Get ready for it, don't lose your head and beleive that on the other end things will be better.

How about the head coach being embarrassed over his performance the last 4 years? That's who needs to be embarrassed.

Wasn't jacksonville state the runner up to North Dakota state last year? We'll get and ugly win but zero improvement

7 offensive points against an unranked wisconsin team and some fans think LSU are still world beaters.
