That flea flicker is going to give opposing DCs plenty of heartburn. Just another thing to think about when Fournette gets the ball.

You can bet the farm on this- he will throw at least one pass against Bama. Cam is steadily adding misdirection to the offense and preying on defensive expectations. Each game we see new wrinkles. It is going to be balls out vs Bama after the open date.

No...we've got a lot more in the arsenal. It's all about timing and preperation. They don't rollover to next year...use what you got. 1-2 "trick" plays in tight games should be used IMO.

We are just starting the gauntlet and we have already displayed two powerful trick plays- we had to use them in one game

Do we have any more in the bag?

Doesn't concern me.

What concerns me are the things in this game that kept Florida close, despite an otherwise great performance.

I'm not concerned with our trick plays b/c they worked. Now if we would run the trick play like Indy did last night, that would concern me.

Dude.. That Flea Flicka will work again as long as it LF7 getting that touch 1st.. It sucked the D in big time

It got the safety, but not the DB. Harris had to make a good throw because of the coverage. Made the play even more impressive.

Fournette makes any play work. He could have fake-pitched it BACK to Harris, then kept it and ran for 15. He gets to 5 gear in a quick-like fashion.

Trick plays don't bother me...

Giving up special teams TDs does.

No concern at all. Trick plays not only used for a spark if you will, but are also used when you see something that can be exploited. Florida had a highly ranked rush defense. Everyone is running to 7 when he gets the ball because I'm starting to get convinced that not even Chuck Norris could stop him, so that we knew would work. Same thing with special teams fakes. You know they will only work if there is a flaw in the other teams coverage or plan of attack. You don't just use them because you have to, you use them when you know they will work too.

The Flea Flicker should be employed a lot more in my opinion because with a back like LF it is just as good if not better than a play action pass if the pass protection is there.

We should run a flea flicker at least once a game. It will almost always work. Benefit of having GOATnette.

You could make the case that Fournette in the wildcat is just as "trick play" as the flea flicker.

The wildcat was awesome to see - you could see UF defenders short circuiting when he took the snap. He hasn't walked into the end zone any easier than that in his LSU career.
