I don't know what they are waiting for but I am waiting on tonight's Euro run. The last one had a landfall in fla. around Cape Canaveral. If the run tonight has the same then the cone will shift even more west. It's getting to be within the three day time frame and the models do pretty well on track three days out.

Downvote all you want, that is what I'm hearing from people here and in FL. Not advocating it, just passing along info. Geez you people are so sensitive.

If they can't play it sat then they can't play it Sunday. They have no idea what kind of destruction there will be. No way to know if there will be power. Emergency personnel will be all over the state. Roads will be packed with people trying to get back into damaged areas. Sunday is an even worse idea because of the unknown and then they will have missed out on a chance to play the game because they didn't move it.

It can't be postponed. Florida has a game on our bye week and thank god for that

I saw someone post that in 2001, a game was posponed until after regular season and the seccg was pushed back. That's the only reason I included 'postponed'.
Personally, I believe it will be played in Baton Rouge.

That was 9/11. A national crisis, not comparable to this. Well at least I hope not.

I think ALL championship games were moved back a week after 9/11 happened.

Officials met today so maybe an announcement will be made tomorrow.
