No. Not bc I don't respect Freeze. I know he's a legit play caller and has won at every stop.
This is the SEC West. We aren't going to be going against any limp dick coaches. That's why BK needs to hire the BEST staff possible. Its a fist fight.

The SEC is scary scary now. Almost any team could pop up and beat any team under the right situation. Vandy won 2 SEC games, SC best Tennessee and Clemson back to back. I think Mizzou is going to be better next year. Kentucky will bounce back. aTm will be a bowl team next year. So will Auburn. OU and Texas will be entering soon. It's not Freeze that worries me. That's one game a year. The SEC worries me, but LSU should be ahead of the curve.

This isn't some juggernaut hire. I don't get why people think this is anything more than a middle of the road hire by Auburn. They pulled the trigger because he beat Alabama twice. That's it. So stupid.

He’s never had the talent he’s going to get eventually at Auburn. He was solid at Ole Miss. He’s probably the best coach they have had in 25 years.

Freeze and Kiffin are good but not great coaches. Good enough to be a pain in the arse but eventually both outsmart themselves and aren’t elite coaches.
If LSU recruits as it should and has a coach who knows what he’s doing, neither Freeze nor Kiffin should be problems LSU can’t overcome.

Some people in control there wanted this, plain and simple.
I do not expect a huge change there in overall competitiveness. Also I am waiting to see what students and the fan support does there. Most strong AU fans I know hate the hire. It is much like reaction to our 2016 search. He will have some success no doubt but this is taking far too much risk with the program. The new AD was hired to do this but he is putting his career and the program in risky place. Just my two cents

No. He had to cheat his arse off to win the first time around, and his brand of cheating is allowed now. His actual Xs and Os is mediocre. Not to mention if the reporter rumor mill about his unknown skeletons in the closet are what they're hyped up to be, he's going to be fired for cause within 2 years.

True but everyone can pay now. I think you will start seeing more parity in college football. Just My Opinion though and I don’t claim to know anything
