You realize that is what Cameron's passing offense was designed for and how did that work out? Cameron wanted long post patterns with little underneath stuff. Moving the chains wins games not throwing 50-60 yd post patterns that you complete 30% of the time.

Coach Cameron wanted 6'4" WR's to throw deep 50/50 balls to off of play action and heavily favored Chi for those reasons. He was targeted 10 times a game under Cameron, not as much upon Cam's departure.

I think Chi needs to give his new OC a chance. I like what O/Ensminger/DE did, throw it to whomever is open and take what the defense gives you, make them defend every inch of turf. EVERYBODY thrives with that approach!

where's he going?

Sarcasm, of course, I realize he may get drafted on his measureables alone, but he's not even close to being ready for the NFL. Hell, he hasn't really made a big play since he's been here, and he's had a lot of drops and soft play against smaller CBs.

Just can't see this guy on an NFL roster.

He should, but sometimes these players get desperate depending on their individual backgrounds. He should come back and his stock will rise with a vastly improved OC such as Matt Canada.

^Just curious if you've ever watched Canada's Os prior to this week? Dupree if he's wise will go yesterday. Canada wants the ball in his HB/TE's hands early and often on short horizontal stuff. Dupree will be a blocker nxt year if he stays. WR's especially big down field pass catchers are gonna weep

Maybe that just played to the strength of his personnel. Maybe he will be fine with the vertical passing game...

Canada worked with what he had at Pitt. If you actually think having these big wideouts is a disadvantage for Canadas system i feel sorry for you and your not very good.

Dupre could benefit from another year of the weight room and new coaching.

I say fifty fity he stays depending on his situation and perception.

Canada isn't really a WR guy, so probably not.

Yeah having big, fast WRs is never a disadvantage. We have no idea what Canada is going to do with these freakish WRs because he's never had freakish WRs. At LSU he'll have 3-5 star WRs at the end of the bench.

Canada has been pretty consistent in his career at giving the ball to his best players. Awesome RB? Feed him the rock. Good running QB? Let him run. I'm sure he'll find a way to take advantage of the talent at WR.

Dupree will be back...smart kid. He realizes he needs to get stronger and his year was average at best.

So Canada doesn't like to throw downfield to WR? Doesn't sound too good to me.

All we have ever done is throw it down field to receivers on 50/50 balls. The quick passing game that picks up first downs is much better for us.
