I can see declining a personal invitation, but please no sermons on how it's ok to sit out a bowl game (any bowl game) between your team and another team for the sole purpose of avoiding an NFL injury. It's not OK. You're in for the long haul. Players need to return the favor to LSU for giving them a national stage to display their talents. It's a peril of the game. Get over it.

McNair was one cool dude. Got to talk with him a lot. When he threw the balls in practice the receivers couldn't catch them. Hardest throw I've ever seen.

The Senior Bowl is a big deal. It's the first real opportunity for these guys to connect with NFL coaches and GMs. Yes I think he goes. It would be out of character for him not to.
