and when we win this Saturday, will you come back on here and say that you were wrong....or just play it off and then predict several losses AFTER the OM game. I'm guessing you don't go with the former....and that you want to be right so badly that you will ride that horse.

LSU is very inconsistent like almost every team in the country.

Not even close. The name “LSU” is our biggest asset from a ranking perspective at the moment.

Realistically we’re #6 in the SEC at best behind Texas, Tennessee, Ole Miss, UGA / Bama tie. I wouldn’t even put us above A&M or Arkansas at this point, we might very well be 8th best. I think you guys are forgetting just how bad we are on defense.

Bama losing was a fluke due to UGA last week and Bama thinking it would be a walk in the park.

We can surprise some teams for sure, but overall we’re just not very good. It would not surprise me at all if we finished 6-6.

Ole Miss lost to Kentucky who got destroyed by South Carolina. But then Ole Miss destroyed South Carolina...

Oregon will be #3 amd they look as flawed as LSU. Texas is really the only team that looks champion caliber.

Until the Defense looks good against a good team then the honest answer is no. Still think LSU's defense is a year away from actually being up to LSU standards from the past.

You could have saved yourself all that typing and just started and ended with this.

You have BKDS.

There’s Texas and OSU…..then the rest.

You say that, but what do we truly know about UT and OSU? Yes, they seem to have good teams, but who have they played so far this season? I thought UT had a good win vs Michigan, but now after yesterday, who knows.

There were a few teams I thought were way above everyone else and then yesterday made me question everything regarding CFB this season. There’s no telling who ends up in the final 12. I have a feeling 1-2 of the teams that make the playoffs weren’t on anyone’s original list.

Unfortunately we just really don't know about any team until they get to the meat of the schedule. We're there now though.

Personally, I do not think LSU is a top 10 team due to the defense, albeit improved from last year.

No, they are an 8-4 type of team. Pretty much on par with UF, Arky and USCe

i think LSU can compete with most teams. if they can win some close games they can finish top 15. if the running game becomes efficient they might finish top 10.

About what I think too. I think the ceiling is 9-3 and the floor is 7-5.

You got him pegged. The dude argues with everyone, regardless of poster. Calls someone “the worst form of cancer” because he doesn’t like him.

He’s either really young or really stupid. Perhaps both.

I think we might beat Ole Miss and then lose @Arkansas or something like that. They are all toss ups at this point.

Translation property doesn’t really work in CFB. Espcially this year it seems.

I know a lot of other teams suck donkey nuts but, other than Nuss and that new running back, we still have Brian Kelly as a coach…
After watching a lot of great games yesterday, why is THAT your main focus? Do you just live to be miserable?

For everyone bashing Kelly, I'm going to bring this up- we're entering midseason and conference play now. You know, since you're fixating on Kelly's supposed history and tendencies and all.

So, LSU with Kelly the past 2 years, started off looking rough. Openers against P5 teams that we lost, expecting to win because "we're LSU". Team looking in disarray, like it's going to be a long year. And then, we go into conference play, and the team looks a lot better than we thought. THAT'S the "Kelly pattern" I'm seeing.

I still think we win this weekend.
