Even 7 - 5 he stays. He needs to fix QB and OL.
I don't think 7 & 5 is likely though. More likely win 9 or 10. You guys must be really board to reply 8 pages to such hypothetical bull shite.

If he goes 7-5 and losses the Bowl game to end up at 7-6. He will resign from the pressure. Ann Arbor here he comes.

LSU will be lucky to finish 7-5 in 2010. That's my best case scenario for them. More likely 5-7 or 6-6. You're going to rid yourself of the plague that is les miles sooner or later so it might as well be sooner for the sake of the program.

What year is JJ again?
How many years has he been under the tuteledge of Miles/Crowton?
How many games has he started?
How much more time does he need?
All of you defending Miles keep saying...Next year. shite you were saying that a year ago too. When is next year=this year?

Most people outside of the LSU fanbase that I talk to say it's a shame what is happening to the football program
The true believers like Choctaw and Lonnie are completely oblivious to this. They just can't see it. They are so caught up in their "results only" evaluation. 51-15, 51-15, 51-15. They think Miles' record trumps all other discussion.
Those of us who have the benefit of actually watching the games know otherwise. We are a poorly coached bunch right now and have been for a long time. The bloom is off of the Les Miles rose, and the football program is currently on a slow road to mediocrity. We aren't travelling as quickly down that road as we did under Mike Archer, but make no mistake, we ARE on that road.

Why would Miles require defending or better yet, why would LSU fans not defend their own coach who has guided their team to the overall must successful 5 year period under one coach in LSU history?

and he coached in the Big East and ACC...add on to that the fact that Miles stomped a mudhole in his #1 Defense's arse in the Peach Bowl
Dinardo did the same to Saban in the Indy bowl. without a doubt he is better than Saban, according to your logic. plus, 2005 was year 5 of the Coker regime and year 1 of the Miles regime. in a sense, Coker was in the midst of his slide while Miles was just starting to hide....behind Saban's talent.

sounds like the Saints and LSU have totally swapped places.

Quite moaning and be glad your coaches name isn't Zook.

Speaking for Lonnie, I do concentrate more on results than the assumption that the end is near...shoot me.
I'm not so blind that I can't see the difference between 05, 06, and 07 and the last two years. I'm also not so shallow that I turn on my own cause they have stumbled while continuing to win.
I'll hang with my team/coach cause I feel they deserve my support based on the 5 years of success they have given LSU and others can do as they please.

the only ones defending Miles is other SEC schools fans, to the tune of: "Miles is great! i hope he stays at LSU forever".

because Corky Romano could've coached LSU to success in '05-'07.....and wouldn't have embarrassingly become the laughing stock of college football in 2009.

then why couldn't Saban do it in '04?

Miles bashers like to think this because it justifies their hatred (which i still don't understand) but its simply not true.

Yes, I think most of us remember his 12-0 1st season.
In his next 5 seasons, his winning percentage never improved from one season to the next. You know, like his 3rd year was not better than his 2nd or his 4th was not better than his 3rd, and so on.
