Do you understand what Wade is trying to do yet?

He has been preaching defense, effort, and buying in since he got here. He finally has his guys and wow can you see it.
The effort and intensity is second to none. We lost our best shooter right before the season and they are still rolling because the defense is the rock.
We are about to be a basketball school and it’s not because football and baseball will lack championships.

I'm totally on board. Yes it's aggravating to see them struggle from beyond the arc, but I'm ok with it because the defense is there and the points off TO are there and the rebounds and so much more is there this year with this team that is buying in to Wade basketball. And I cringe Everytime I've read the "what if we had Miller" comments this year. But now I'm starting to realize what the IF really is. The possibility of an undefeated season? Wow. Just the thought of what some of these scores could be.

Lol we wouldn’t go undefeated with Miller .we will be in deep shite unless the shooting gets better

LSU is having trouble early in games, last night GT outplayed LSU early and LSU was not playing defense and had many turn overs. I wish they would start strong. This seems to be a pattern.

Defense will keep you in games when you are shooting poorly like they did yesterday at the beginning...if this had been any other year Ga Tech would have ran away early and pull away for a lopsided win...

Exactly. We’re out-efforting and out-athleting teams at the moment. The problem remains that we don’t have anything that resembles a consistent shooter and that will hurt us against top level competition that has the horses to keep up with us.

Obviously the shooting needs to improve, but with this defense and transition game, we can beat anyone in the country.

Yep They are playing great D, very active, switching has been pretty damn good, and actually on O, they are moving a good bit, no standing around, but they have to hit shots.

With 8 minutes left in the half GA Tech only had 17 points. The offense had just gone stone cold but the defense kept them within striking distance. The half court defense was fine, but they did get beat downcourt a couple times when Tech broke the press.
