i know this sounds like a completely ricockulous question, but i wonder. i may be out of line because i didn't see any postgame quotes or interviews from him. i just see him with his big goofy smirk, in his milesspeak, saying something along the lines of "this is what quality football in the sec is all about." "anybody can beat anybody in this conference, when you have two quality opponents going up against each other."

no coach, its not. like someone on here quoted hanagrif saying with the injuries, lsu should win this game 10 out of 10. we should have been able to put welter at qb, running the short side option to doug planchard all game and still won.

i'd be pissed at ole miss winning at full strength, but could accept it. this is unacceptable. i wasn't mad after georgia

are you asking if the reason we lost is if miles didn't know he was supposed to win?

is that your question?

Don't worry about it, BigErn, because Coach Miles is the best LSU can do. Take the 80 percent wins and enjoy the games.

no he doesnt. anyone who thinks diffrently are the ones who are retarded. Two loss Les has now reached 2 losses for the 7th time out of 8 years. Ole Miss and Arkansas seem to just bring out the worse coaching performances of Les's career

He apologized to the fans said that he did a "piss poor job". So yeah, I'm guessing that he knew we were supposed to win.

80% 0f 12 is 10. So we will win out, right? I wouldn't bet on that if I were you,

1 thing has always been apparent since Miles has been here and it's that his teams never have and identity.

We can hang with the best teams in the country, but allow the some of the worst teams to hang with us. It's been that way since he's got here.

the talent rich state of Louisiana has allowed Miles to stay competitive, but it wont last forever. It happened to Miami, Florida State and Texas. It will be a slow and steady decline.

OK. And that leads you to believe that he might not know if he's supposed to win a game? You think one of the top 10 coaches in big time college football got there by accident and not understanding what winning and losing means?

He was very fortunate LSU hired him...no way he is what he is today if LSU doesn't hire him.

That can be said about nearly every big name coach.

OK, but then why do we have to suffer through all of the "he's the best caoch," and "who elese could do this" posts? Miles is a fine coach, but don't act as if he's the only person who could have success here.

No one is forcing anyone to suffer through those anymore than "do you think Miles knows it's better to win than lose" posts.

Indeed.

I never have. I am much more cautious about firing coaches than many after seeing the train wrecks that have happened when other big schools have pulled that plug.

exactly, LSU is just like Texas, USC, and Florida. anyone can win there/here.

Two out of Florida's last three coaches haven't exactly burned up the record books, nor did very many before Spurrier. Mack isn't setting the world on fire at Texas and USC is a shite show. Before Nick Saban, Alabama wasn't of national consequence for nearly two decades. If Rich Rod has accepted the job it would still be a has been program. Few coaches at LSU have found remarkable success.

But yeah, anyone can win huge at big name schools.

Personally at the end of the day I honestly don't think Les cares. He has shown us time and time again that he doesn't give two shits about what the fans think, other coaches (including his own) think, what experts and media think, etc.. Whether it be the way he handled the Jefferson/Lee situation, the BCS title game, or by the way he has handled punishing some players while protecting others. Miles does what he wants and couldn't careless about anything else.

At the end of the day he's the one cashing the multi millions into his accounts and probably hysterically laughs himself to sleep every night.
