Do you think King and Alleva had any idea the backlash would be this bad?

I bet some part of them wished they would have just let the investigation play out, like the other schools do but noooo their egos got the best of them

They had no idea because they are so out of touch with reality. Like children and act before they think.

If they had any clue about anything, they would have done something right at some point in their careers.

Alleva knew, he was the one who tried to get rid of Miles remember. The fans turned on him then but he was 100% correct Miles needed to go. Fast forward to the other day as fans were mad at Alleva for suspending Wade. History will prove Alleva correct.

I don’t think they’re surprised. They already knew that we don’t like them especially Alleva

Is it that bad? The Rant has gone apeshit but they undoubtedly give zero fricks if they're even aware. Alleva got booed, but the protest fizzled. The Lipsey thing is the first and so far only indication that anyone in a position to make a difference is unhappy.

Because of the politics involved, some are voicing their displeasure behind closed doors tactfully.

Lipsey can say whatever he wants because he's too old to have to worry about retaliation. Plenty of people are mad though.

Plenty of others still have no idea about the actual details in the case and only know the false media narratives.

They have zero foresight. They are 100% reactionary.

Uh...the fans turned on him when he FAILED at getting rid of Miles.

LSUs administration is so dumb they can’t differentiate between a respectful farewell celebration and a riot demanding Miles stay.

I think at this point they enjoy it. I think the only reason they let Smart play was the lawsuit threat.

That Lipsey post was a shot across the bow. It was a heavy hitter with deep pockets. For that to be posted publicly, the behind closed doors talk must be severe.

Do nothing and maybe LSU and Wade ride it out. Maybe.

Suspend Wade and:

1) You most assuredly lose him as your head coach;

2) You ruin what was a great sports season for LSU basketball;

3) You increase media attention on the situation by exacerbating it and creating a whole new problem; and,

4) Nasty litigation of a contractual nature.

Maybe the NCAA would have penalized LSU basketball and set the program back.

By suspending Wade, LSU has guaranteed
it and it’s a self-inflicted penalty.
