That's great. I hope he is. I like Hill and he did a lot of great things as a Tiger. I hope he is very successful in the NFL.

That doesn't take away from the number of talented RBs in this draft. I don't know why you seem so hell bent on trying to prove that comment wrong. That really seems to upset you that I think there are talented RBs in this class other than Hill.

You never saw him play at franklinton. His junior and senior years were as electric as fournettes, no lie.

Not to say Magee is a better prospect, he isn't. And fwiw, I was talking about fournette on this board 4 years ago.

Magee was a terror is hs though. A WINNER.

than why was he a 3* and not a 5*?

I'm not saying he isn't good but comparing him to one of the best RB recruits out of high school LSU has ever gotten is suspect.

many people are comparing fournette to Peterson, over the last 10 20 years one of the best RB in college and now the best RB in the NFL.

Magee will come no where close to that level even if he has a great year.

you seem perturbed that I brought this up, I am sorry it bothers you so. I thought I would mention it since you avoided the threads about it yesterday

Look I love McGee and he will be a key cog in the machine, but don't mistake the fact that LF is the V8.

Why don't you ask LF himself if I'm suspect?

what ever

I hope Magee is amazing and makes our run offense scary.

but I stand by my prediction by mid season Fournette will lead the team in carries per game and will prove to us that he is legit.

Depending on how he does picking up the playbook when he reports in the summer, he can have an impact in the Wisconsin, but will not start.

Wisconsin is losing almost their entire starting front seve. We will run it about 50 times that game.

Magee 18
Fournette 15
Hilliard 8
Jennings 6
Rest 3

A lot of u guy's are underestimating Jennings because of the bowl. Don't be surprised if he carries the ball one forth of the time. The boy can really truck.

The punter (Jamie Keene) and fullback (Connor Neighbors). You could also include the Placekicker (a la Colt David a few years ago) or holder.

I agree. Fournette will be the starter by game 3 though IMO

Clearly he did not.

Terrance Magee had higher YPC than Hill did and had half the number of TDs with only 42% as many carries. Doesn't come close to meaning that Magee is better than Hill, but Magee is a fricking solid RB.

It means Magee was back up and change of pace. Have yall not seen this before at LSU? Blue, Ford, Ware, Hilliard, all looking good, then struggling to put up decent numbers in year two? I think Magee is good but he benefited from being a back up. A back up sometimes has games where he outshines the starter, but usually it is because he comes in at opportune times, and he doesn't get the same volume of carries.

Magee should go over 1000 but his carries will not be much more than Fournette's, I can promise you that. At the end of the year, you may see a 30-35 carry difference.

Williams, receivers, or knees (I believe they count towards carries).

I think people are discounting how good that offensive line was last year. If Collins leaves along with LSU breaking in a new QB and receivers those huge gaping holes these RB's had last year may not be there.
