But if it's early in the regular season and it's a ranked SEC team that we play in the regular season, yes. I want that team to win before we play them.
For instance, in tonight's game between Oregon and Auburn. I wanted Auburn to win because that will improve their ranking, which will make it better when we play them. I wasn't overly impressed with Auburn but I did want them to win because we play them in a few weeks. A win over a ranked conference foe will improve our SOS. And after you beat them, you want them to continue to win, making the win we made look even better (see Georgia last season)
If it's a regular SEC opponent that's struggling, then no.
Edit: I will not pull for Alabama under any circumstance. They can lose every game for all I care.

I'd say mostly. For example, no f---ing way I'd root for a pac12 over Auburn.
But I'd never root for old miss, alabamm, or florida - never ever.

It depends. I never pull for Alabama, Florida, or Auburn. With the others, it's situational.

If LSU wins the sec we are in the playoffs, unless somehow we win the SEC with two or more losses, even than we may sneak in because a win over Alabama and Georgia would be pretty impressive. Assuming that’s who we beat to win the SEC and looking at the rest of the SEC there is no one else who can match them outside of LSU.
So with this in mind I don’t pull for them. Plus who could pull for teams like Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, aTm, Florida, etc. if you don’t hate those teams you aren’t an LSU fan.
