No, that's just stupid.
You pull for the school you are attending and obtain your degree.
If you choose, for whatever reason, to attend a school that is a heated rival of the school you pulled for growing up (yeah, I know SEC Board Bama fans, we're not really "rivals"
), then tough shite, you now have to start pulling for the school you are attending and from which you are hopefully obtaining your degree (especially undergrad) over the team you pulled for growing up. That's just how it works. There are no exceptions.

I know a guy like that right now. He lived in Bama till he was 10, and then moved to Louisiana. Grew up in his developmental years in Baton Rouge, graduated high school in Baton Rouge, graduated from LSU, and yet continues to bandwagon Bama. And not just a bandwagoner, but a shite talker at that.

My brother in law hates LSU. His dad is a die hard tiger fan and must have beat him with an LSU belt as a child. Hes all Tulane now.

My nephew. Hated them because his LSU friends always gave him shite when the Saints were losing. It took Payton wearin an LSU cap to convice him otherwise.

Completely agreed, I was told by a Dr. that I met at a store that he hated LSU, this was after he asked where I went to school and I said LSU. Then he said he went to USL and started ripping LSU and the atheletes. Which I responded good luck on your 1st bowl game in 41 years.
