A lot of people when we have bad seasons. Several posters on this site as well as others, except their turtle heads are back under their shells now that we are winning.

My wife hates LSU. She is a UL grad, and her friends cannot believe we are together, as I bleed Purple and gold. She actually even hates the color purple.
I have gone to a couple of UL games - Homecoming, and the New Orleans bowl. Lafayette has several people that have penis envy over LSU, but there are some fans there as well.
We actually sat near some UL folks at the N.O. Bowl and laughed about Bama about to run into a buzzsaw in the Superdome come Jan 9th...

many people hate LSU athletics, some profs at LSU do no doubt. Then there are many who just hate football and think its crazy a head coach gets paid 4M ad the university parking lots are catered towards RV owners on Fridays.

As much as I want to disagree with all of you about the ULL fans hating LSU, some of it is very true. I am from B.R. And it's amazing to see how many fans have such a disgust for everything LSU. I don't understand it as I am a huge fan of both......and yes, u can be a fan of both.

I know people who chose to go to school oos. I dont think they hate lsu, just dont cheer for them. Havent really met anyone that hates LSU. Prob some laffy people.

I grew up in northeast LA listening to John Ferguson call the games over the am radio in the family car..... WWL I'm sure... graduated from NLU and had family at La Tech.... and have always loved LSU. Wish I'd gone there so I could sing the alma mater at the game with a clear conscience.

I went to school out of state for a variety of reasons, but one of the main ones was that I was not a fan of LSU. I didn't really care too much for college football as much as I do now, and I sure hate LSU now. I still hate Auburn and Tennessee more, but I can't stand LSU as well

I live in Ruston. My next-door neighbor is from Baton Rouge. He chose to go to La Tech out of high school and bleeds blue. I've never asked him why, but he doesn't like LSU at all.
