And the other key contributors on offense and defense to right this ship?

He decided to go cheap last year and the results were a mirror image of the effort.

He got a Heisman QB in the tranfer portal.

Why would we have no confidence in his ability to get one?

I have the opinion he just got lucky with JD and his recent trend of being cheap when dealing with the transfer portal doesn't bode well for LSU getting a quality guy who can make a difference like JD did. Denbrock clearly was the difference with him and now he's gone.

Not saying he can't strike gold again but he doesn't have anything to offer them now as far as development. Sloan is a mitigated disaster with Hankins. You have to think finding a top end OC will need to be acquired ASAP to attract a difference maker.

I don’t have confidence that BK can tie his own shoes.

I’m sure BK can go find someone in free agency. That’s what it is now. Truth be told apparently we have 1.5 million freed up from investors in our program I’d like to see them spend that on a defense. Hard to lose games when people can’t score on you.

Nuss is the starter next year, would rather spend the money on OL and WR

You should be asking if we can get an OC from the portal.Unless you are satisfied with Sloan who’s coaching prowess does things like this; It’s 4th down and less than a yard, you call timeout, then go to shotgun formation, to then call a jet sweep that is shut down for a 3 yd loss . Besides firing Brad Davis and getting better players on defense THIS is our biggest offseason need !!!!

Kelly looks like a drowning man. For whatever reason the team is not following him, and it seems to be going backwards. Nuss has become a bust, not sure what happened there, but his confidence is low.

Defense has improved a little this year but offense is in a free fall since A&M. This is both play level and play calling.

They are not as attractive as they were 4 games ago.

You really think it’s Davis’s fault we don’t have a bunch of great defensive players with plenty of quality depth? Or do you think he’s just a terrible coach period? LSU has a few nice prospects but man alive we got some not so talented players on that side of the ball that even someone like Coach Smart might not can coach up. I StubHub tickets and take top shelf volume buying customers to various games all across the Southeast. Several of these teams I’ve watched in person the past few seasons just roll waves of defensive players out there to keep everyone fresh. I was shocked watching Georgia play because their second string defensive guys are not much of a drop off on talent from their starters. Instead of spending an insane amount of money on a 17 year old high school QB I’m leaning let’s go buy defensive players to blend in with the few good ones we actually have that are returning. For whatever reason we just aren’t landing the type of depth that we use to get.

He got a Heisman winner and still went to a shite bowl. Buckle up for 8-4 again.

I think it’s Davis fault that our o line play sucks arse!! All world Campbell and Jones and we give up 6 sacks to Florida, and can’t open a hole that Earl Campbell could run through!!! You fricking right I blame Davis

Nuss is the QB in 2025

Kelly will be HC

The ceiling for this team next year is 8-4

Deal with it
