Any grown person that does this is pathetic.

I got a tic stub to LSU/Miami peach bowl signed by Miles that my dad and attended after Katrina. I framed it for him and he has it hanging on his wall. He loves reminiscing that trip...Is that pathetic?

Not judging anyone's fandom as you say. I'm as big a fan as anyone but getting college kids autographs is pathetic. It's as bad as a grown man wearing a jersey.

It's not a big deal. Not a fancy neighborhood, and he's renting. No lambos or anything crazy in the driveway either. I think my car is worth more than his honestly.

You sound extremely judgemental. And concerning yourself with what a grown man chooses to wear is more pathetic than any autograph seeker.

If you're the same age or slightly younger is it pathetic?

it's the only real way that Bama fans say that they participated in the "Other Signing Day."

If I were going to meet one LSU player, it would be Dillon Gordon. Have you seen that guy's post on Twiitter? He's hilarious!

I found a piece of tiger stadium on the ground outside the south end zone during Hurricane Isaac so I got that signed by the whole team plus Les Miles. Couple future NFL players. I think it's cool to hang up in a basement. I've got Mettenberger's autograph on a jersey as well. So double pathetic

If you do, you do. If you don't , you don't . No reason to be name calling.

Not a chance. I know a few and have met a bunch more and would never ask any of them. They're just normal kids like everyone else.

No they are not. This board doesn't get upset when a normal kid gets in a bar fight before the big game.

So many hypocrites in this thread. They say it's pathetic to ask for an autograph. But they are ready to fight and bitch when the same player under-performs.

Sothe performance of one qb is gonna get people emotional for a year, but its pathetic to celebrate their accomplishments with a signed picturehanging on the wall of your man cave. Got it.

Nah it's weird. I've worked on group projects with football players before and have had numerous pieces of papers with mine and their names on it. To think at some schools grown men out run kids to get autographs from some of these players is kinda funny.

Yeah. My brother had class with Shaq. He got him to sign a quiz they took together as a group. He is so embarrassed every time someone stops by his house and he has a signature of one of the greatest centers in NBA history hanging on the wall right next to a signature of Hank Aaron.

When I was a kid, I'd wait for the LSU baseball players to leave the locker room to get autographs. Being 30 years old, I just go home after the games. There's just some things grown men don't do and that's wait for autographs from college kids.
