Self-explanatory. Do you get autographs from players at the spring games or in private autograph sessions and what do you get signed?

Me and my wife bought a football before a game in 2012 and my wife asked the players to sign it by the locker room after the South Carolina game. So we have a football with an LSU logo with most of the 2012 starters on it. Pretty cool display in our LSU media room.

No. I think it's childish.

Maybe he wants them for his child. You ever think of that?!

Any grown person that does this is pathetic. If you help your kids get it, that's fine, but not for personal use. That is just sad.

When I was a kid, yes. Now, the only one I would get would be Les Miles. Obviously he isn't a player though.

Yes.

Baseball is 10x worse. Stick around after a game one time and watch the 40-year-olds (both genders) literally yell over and physically push children out of the way

I think any grown person this judgemental about someone's fandom is pathetic.

A Saints player lives next door to me, and I got him to sign some stuff after getting to know him. I guess I'm just sad.

So I'm guessing this is taboo like the grown man jersey discussion.

I got a hat I was wearing signed at the spring game and felt weird in line. I'm 18 though.

I do, all quarterbacks back to the 40's, expect to pass that item on. Y.A. Tittle to the present. Could care less what people think.

What about buying an autographed item at an auction or something for good cause? Is that pathetic?

How? It's still asking for someone younger than me to sign something for memorabilia.

I don't get autographs at all. I don't see the point.

His dogs got loose he other night, and I was the one to find them. Fixed his fence too. Pretty sure he likes me.

Nothing wrong with some memorabilia, but seeking players out to sign stuff? Not if you're over the age of 13.
