Do you find Matt Moscona to be annoying?

I don't listen often but it seems every time I do he just seems so much like a poor man's version of Jim Rome. He always seems to say stupid crap and attempt to personalize an interview instead of asking questions which the audience may actually want to hear.
He had Doug Thompson on and spent a good portion of the interview talking about Thompson's Twitter account. Then he repeatedly referred to Doug Thompson as "Dugger". Moscona is just unprofessional and absolutely annoying.
Like I said, I have only listened to Moscona a few times but he always has had this annoying style. Is this guy popular? He is awefull.

Moscona himself isn't. He has that arsehat Ryan Theriot on with him so much that it turns me off.

He def can be. I think his show could really benefit from a co host... He has ratings though...

If he didn't repeat a phrase or idea 4 or 5 times, his show would only last 30 minutes
Very negative. Takes a stance and then says "I hope I am wrong"
Could go on with more, but you get the idea.
Stopped listening long ago.

I enjoy his show, especially when he has Ryan Theriot on.

Pardon me if I am ignorant, but is there another sports radio show on in Baton Rouge area during the drive home? Of course his show has ratings, it's pretty much the only game in town at that time. I will give you that he does get good guests for interviews on his show, however he usually ruins the interview because he continually cuts them off.

I think Scona does a great job. I appreciate the job he does bringing enthusiasm to the show. Theriot's hour on Friday is god awful though. I can't stand that guy

His use of repeating himself over & over again is pure Richard Condon'ish, who perfected this art of killing air time. Cann't take Theriot, great ball player that he was, as he has the reputation of having a huge "I am a former LSU baseball god" ego & does not try to hide how great he was.

Overall I like him. He does a few things that bother me but you take the good with the bad. Could make a fortune betting against his picks if I had the courage. I guess we could go back to a pure sports host like Condon. I have a 45 minute commute and am glad he is on the radio.
