I hope he starts. He seemed to pitch better with that type of routine. I'd like to see more of Noot, Mayers, Ware and Rizy too tonight.

Mayers needs to get on track - he is one of the pieces they need for any long term or SEC success against better teams. Guy has electric stuff. Elite when on.

I think we start to see Noot a lot less during the midweek. Bullpen arms who actually throw strikes will be reserved for the weekend.

We need to have at least a 8 run lead when he comes in this guy is all over the place

Unfortunately, I'm not sure he ever will. He's never been able to consistently put it over the plate. Would be a nice piece if he ever actually figured it out, but I'm not holding my breath.

He pitched Saturday and it was 27 pitches, he can very easily start tonight, but if I'm being honest, looks like he's earned more weekend only work at this point while all the others - Schmidt, Rizy, Williams, Mayers, Dorsey, Benge, Ware, Primeaux need an inning (or more) this mid-week.

Would like to see Schmidt get the start personally and have him go 2-3 innings if he can then turn it over to the other guys needing to see the mound.

My bad it was Saturday and i agree he's probably earned more work in the SEC games which lead me to believe Schmidt is starting tonight.

You were right the first time it was Sunday morning. But I think he can probably throw an inning or 2 tonight with the low pitch count.

Noot needs to be promoted from midweek to weekend.

Need to. These guys need to realize, with Cowan and Evans being able to go multiple innings, we just 5 or 6 of them dudes to get us 1 clean inning a weekend. That's it. Nut up and throw a 3 outs.

I agree he's seems better in a starting role. I'd prefer him come out the pen tonight if the plan is to utilize him in that role on the weekends.

Hopefully the more reps he gets coming out the pen, the more comfortable he'll be in that role.

Im afraid he's pretty much unplayable in stopper situations. He's wild everytime he's out there. He has a great fastball but he's beyond effectively wild
