I think the crowd was going nuts for Farrer because he came in and LSU was 1 point away from the Canes Challenge. Thats why people were going nuts.

My theory is that Brady's recruiting trips were actually vacations. He went to Phoenix for a little getaway and was like, "I need a coverup, quick!" So he found a newspaper and looked for a local high school game to do some scouting. Well it just so happened Farrer had a J-Mac type performance that landed him an LSU scholarship.

Hey Gugish22.........Is that photo of the Superdome for real or is it photoshopped? Don't tell me they actually painted that crap on top of the dome. Doesn't even remotely resemble the state of Louisiana, even though that's what it's supposed to be. Looks like something the grounds crew in Tiger Stadium would come up with......

terry martin has gotten a lot better imo.. he still shots a line drive sometimes but Johnson has def gotten a lot more out of him than Brady did

Farrer can shoot free throws very well. Maybe we will need him to make a technical shot down the road?

Well he did kind of quit the team 2 months ago...
But you have to love his stats on the season:
12 minutes 0/3 shooting 4/4 FTs 4 pts 0 rebounds 1 assist 4 Turnovers 2 steals 2 fouls....that is god awful
and the Canes challenge is something LSU, UGA, and a few other schools do where if the home team meets a certain criteria(ex: block 5 shots, score 75 points, hit 6 threes, or for UGA...WIN-lol) then you get a free cane's combo with the purchase of a combo so you can get 2 Caniacs for 8 bucks which is pretty sweet.
But you have to love his stats on the season:
