Even If O is not an upgrade from Les, at least O is hungry. Les got stale. We’re better off.

O hasn't been an improvement. But if Les were still here, Clueless Joe might be too.

His timed had passed by his own fault... He is a great man and did great things for LSU... I wish he was still the coach if he could have got his head out of his arse and changed his offensive mind... But hey things change... Do I think O is the answer???? Im still not sure about that... THIS YEAR will be the telling point for me...............

Love the change and it was needed. Looks like O is getting thing in place and full year 3 should be special.

Maybe people will stop comparing O to Les when O actually starts outperforming Les in any single area of coaching.

This.

I'm not a fan of either.

I like coaches like Will Wade and Dave Aranda.

we are not playing down to our opponents; which was a Les Miles staple

He should have been let go at end if 15. But this is such bullshite. We lost to UF and Tamu and still had iffy games against shite teams. Let's not forget the loss to Troy and state.

Oh and the losses under saban, and dinardo, and well every fricking coach we've had.

In fact, Les is the only coach in my lifetime that went a full season not playing down to competition. It is and was always an LSU thing. Not a Les thing.

And most of what you said is just bs. Les is the only coach in our history with 3 top 5 classes in a row. He bested his own record. Recruiting was elite.

And Ed is not more transparent. A lot of coach speek still comes out. And he's not easier to listen to, maybe your opinion, but I can't always understand him. But maybe you like the bluntness of calling out the players or putting blame elsewhere.

He needs to produce, going 10-3 was deemed average. Why has that changed now?

What if it isn't? Then what? Just keep on keeping on?

“ we fired miles because we wanted something better”

The problem is our football program has plateaued at 9 to 10 wins since 2012 and we haven’t been competitive in winning the West, no better who the coach might be, since that time. I can easily understand how all that frustrates people. Hell, it frustrates me.

This debate is going nowhere until coach O wins the west. That’s just the way it is. imo
