It's obvious after 180 post that you people can't agree on this particular topic.

Fwiw I watched a lot of games yesterday and you are correct - there were some bad ones by supposedly good teams, but I think those coaches don't have the same resume and body of work that ours has - his history is littered with games like this, it's a pattern, not a "one off" to just dismiss out of hand.

His history also shows that he is a consistent winner more than most coaches out there

Les Miles at LSU is one of the 25 best tenures of a coach at one school, ever.

Irrelevant when you living in a shite hole like Brooklyn. Your insecurity about making sure people know you went to LSU is amusing though.

here's a stat that goes missed. 2004 -6 in turnovers. By 2007 LSU was +20. Penalties have been an issue with aggressive teams at LSU. but one thing Les prides himself in is not turning the ball over. His teams reflect that. So with that, playing solid d and running the ball, you will win a lot of games. You don't have to like it, but it works. And its not going to change.

I truly don't get it.

It has always been this way.

They act like we are just being "homers" when we defend LSU.. yet even outside perspective all have us highly regarded.. They are the only ones who see LSU and if they have faults.. They don't recognize other teams have their own issues. The media is not exactly always partial to LSU and even they are high on LSU for a reason.. they see all the teams around.. and LSU is among one of the best right now.

Every team has flaws.. Understand LSU matches up well with just about anyone.. and can be in any game against anyone. LSU has been in control of every game this season.. every team they beat was undefeated at the time.. and LSU is so good that they can overcome ridiculous amounts of penalties.. Clean that up and LSU is absolutely abusing opponents this season.

There is nothing like a team that can run all over another team and Harris is highly efficient to be exceptional in passing when need be. Then LSU isn't beating turning the ball over. I would LOVE to see LSU play a Michigan St. Would love their chances there.

It took Ole Miss 5 turnovers and a fluke TD to beat Alabama which was a good win but then they struggled the following week to beat Vandy.. And that was an actual struggle.. Chad Kelly had 2 ints and only 1 td against Vandy.. and they don't even have a run game.. Again, there is nothing like a power team like LSU than just imposes its will on you running and then has an extremely efficient passer. LSU will only get better. Still keep in mind they have 1 less game than everyone else. Everyone has off games.. LSU in an off game still was never in doubt!

According to this board, lsu is the only team that gets penalties and looks sloppy in games. Ignoring the fact of an 11 am start on the road coming off a big win at home.

We are three games in to the season. Highly ranked and everything still to play for but the negative Nancy's on this board continue to bitch and complain.

I agree!!!! This board is ALWAYS TOO NEGATIVE…..ABOUT EVERYTHING. I'm sick of all the constant negative comments, chronic complaining, etc. GET A LIFE.

You didn't go to LSU and you say only bad things about their football team, and you could never make it in a big city.
