Last year vs miss st dept on dl was a big reason we were blown out. O knew this and was supposed to address. in the first 3 games 91,90,99,and 97 are the only dl to get significant playing time in the 3-4 set. anyone else concerned going forward?

We need to grab some In the 19 class, but we have a solid foundation behind our starters, they just need more time to grow

Realistically, if 4/6 of our best DL are unavailable again we might be fricked, like EVERY TEAM on earth.

Depth as an issue was overrated. Not having Lawrence, Alexander, Herron and Ferrel was an issue.

We really won’t be in that much better shape if Lawrence and our entire second string aren’t playing.

I think Neil Farrell is getting some quality snaps and looking pretty good. Big Ed played a pretty good bit Saturday. I think we have a pretty good 2 deep rotation on the 3 tech's.

I totally agree. we will be playing Georgia, Moo State and Alabama in succession. if we have a chance at all against Georgia and Alabama, we will have to have some serious rotation at DL. hopefully we can get more guys involved against Tech, Ole Miss and Florida.

Obviously you haven't been watching the games or you're trying to find something negative. We have been consistently playing 6 def lineman. That's two deep at the three down positions. Plus guys like, Shelvin, Justin Thomas and Neil Farrell have seen lots of play.

Well Lawrence, Alexander, Fehoko, Shelvin, and Herron were not available against MSU last year.

You forgot Neil Farrell, 92 as well.

They believe they are 5 deep on the DL, that's what the first 3 games have told me. Honestly - no pure player depth improvement from last year from what I've seen.

Last year was LaCouture, Gilmore, Lawrence, Herron, Alexander & Logan being rotated. Now we're down 5. Eh, it's still early on, but overall the DL HAS played better I will admit.

I've been watching as close as I can and I can't recall but a few times when Lawrence and/or fehoko came out of the game.

does anyone know where to get the stats on snaps played per DL?

On pay boards they post pro football focus ratings which include snap counts, but your statement of Lawrence/Fehoko rarely coming out is definitely correct. We are not rotating there much.

ferrel and 72 played sparingly vs southeaster but not in other 2 games.

i disagree 90 never comes out. 99 relieves 91 a couple of plays and 92 relieves 97 a couple of plays. if 5 were rotating out all game i would say we were 5 deep. i hope not a problem but bama, georgia, miss st loom

Farrell is playing in every game, which is why I'd say we're 5 deep on the DL. He had 11 snaps against Auburn.
