Most of the sportswriters I know are former jocks, I know a couple that were managers on athletic teams in school

Two hires in a 13 year period is not a "trend". What a stupid article

They are all below average talents at every level, otherwise they would be reporting on something that matters--or have a real job.

Well Bama hired Mike Price that they had to fire before he ever coached a game because he charged his hookers to his Alabama credit card…they’re one to talk!

As soon as I read it, I knew there would be a few losers on the Rant would be agreeing with it. AT the time of the hires, both looked like solid hires, and both brought us NCs. Neither one is Saban, we know that. But LSU has won more NCs since 2000 than any other team not named Bama. So he is wrong bc something must be going right. Hindsight is 20/20. BTW the good "ole boy network" hired Nick Saban. And admit it or not LSU was Saban's big break. So f#%@ Bama, AL.com, the writer, and anyone agreeing with him.

how tf do you know what they're reporting on? guarantee you they're not posting on this place 24/7, because all posters here were 5 star prospect, sure fire #1 draft picks until they blew out their knee in the championship game

that team stood for something more important than just winning a national championship.

One of the worst "professional" articles I have ever seen.
AL.com writers have to cater to nutty Bama fans so most articles read like long form message board posts.

I don't have a problem with the article. It's trashy and lowers itself to its subject.
