The system is fricked up. Your rpi should never fall for beating a team period. It shouldn’t rise for beating Mcneese or whoever we played , but it shouldn’t fall when you win. That’s on the ncaa

This has become something that people believe is true even though it may not be.
LSU's RPI was not hurt by beating NWST (RPI 225).
It's literally a fear of losing

I agree with the sentiment of the OP, but Kyle said that the Aggies would have called 4 spots with a win and 7 spots with a loss. How can that be right if you are saying that LSU was unaffected by the win over McNeese?

Cancelling a game because of possible RPI affects should be a loss by forfiet and should affect RPI negatively. As the other team has athletes wanting to compete against greater talent. Certainly shows a lack of confidence in your team.
