There was lots of talk about Blue possibly moving to LB'er. I still think with Hillard & Hill joining the RB crowd next season, Blue may not mind that & could see a chance at more playing time. It also depends on how some of the younger LBs look if Maclin is at DE or LB, or if more LBs are recruited. I would think one or two of the RB's will move to other positions, maybe Gore to WR.

Ridley, Ware and Ford or better than Blue. Who plays is anyones guess but Blue might just be a special teams kinda guy.

Not even close to true. I think Ford is a better RB.
But, it was pretty clear that Blue played the most as a replacement for Murphy who is primarily our speed (run wide) and 3rd down (protection/receiving) RB.
I think Miles thought, at that time, that Blue was better in that role. I also think it's pretty simple minded to just assume that it is because Miles plays personal favorites.

Blue is going to spend the next 4 years not being able to get to the edge in the SEC while Ford uses his too few carries to score touchdowns and dance on graves, but the Miles crowd will defend the PT choices all the way.

So far, Blue has been the new Richard Murphy. Unimpressive. Ford has looked good in spots, but Ware (although I know he's been injured some) has looked really really good. I hope he gets more touches.

the RB depth chart is going to be crowded and guys in the mold of blue can become really good LBs
some great LBs were moved from offensive skill positions, like DJ williams (RB), LaVar Arrington (RB), and Karlos Dansby (WR)
