Did Womack play last night?

I didn't see him. Kelly needs to be careful with how he handles young talented players in the transfer portal era. Jalen Brown, Shelton Sampson, Kyle Parker, Khai Prean, Jaxon Howard, DaShawn Womack have barely played this year. Trey Holly hasn't played at all last I saw.

Kelly plays freshman if they're good enough. He's not going to force freshman into the game, especially not at WR, where there is a an objective benefit to keeping the same players on the field at all times.

Last year it was re rotate players too much, this year it's we don't rotate guys in enough

We brought in 4 upperclassmen edge rushers, all of whom were multi year starters at P5 schools. We have 8 running backs on the roster. See above re: receiver.

You don't play freshman simply because you don't want them to transfer.

So are you suggesting he just play players to stop them from transferring even if they aren’t ready to play?

Portal works both ways dude. You think lsu is the only school not playing its entire freshman class?

Let me see. We should play these guys because you think we should. We have believe that Kelly and his staff are stupid to see this. We have to believe Kelly and staff should play Holly instead of Diggs, Williams, Emery and Jackson for instance.

So my choice is believe the coaches or you who I assume isn't part of the staff and isn't at practices everyday evaluating who are the starters.

I will go with the coaches.

All I read here is about how depleted this roster is, and if you don't play 5* players, they're probably going to leave. Jordy mentioned Womack specifically a few weeks ago. I for one would find a spot on the field for him, at least sometimes considering he's shown himself as a playmaker.

Holley will transfer.. never see field at LSU

You mean like how they’ve put him on the field in dime looks to rush the QB this season?

Womack was not productive at all vs Mizzou, had 1 positive play. Right now, he’s simply a pass rusher, that limits him.
